I'm expecting Kenny as the devs said he will be making an appearance in some fashion.

I told Sarah I'd be her friend, and I'm actually gonna try if I can since she did help Clem out. But given how Telltale loves making me feel terrible I'll probably be forced to betray her, she'll go nuts and become the final boss. Or I'll inadvertently get her killed and Clem will start feeling guilty again while Carlos tries to kill her.

Nooo, they wouldn't do that

That all being said I think there is going to more there than just baby daddy issues. I have a hunch that Rebecca is going to turn out to be a slightly more sympathetic character than how she was portrayed in the first episode. Her baby might be the result of rape, which would give the player a hook to 'forgive' Rebecca and have Clem help with the baby. Just my guess with how the devs might go...

She's on the titlecard with Clementine for episode 3, so my guess is they get kidnapped and locked in a butcher room or whatever alone and she goes into labor. >.<

I didn't played myself, but I watched it already. I gotta hand it to them, for the first time an game managed to make me feel no sympathy for an animal whatsoever. I myself would have fed the dog, but if he attacked me I would have left him to his misery. I don't care if he is crying or in pain. I'll do no favors for anyone or anything that attacks me like that.

Can't say I feel the same, it's a desperate and hungry animal, besides no one deserves to go out like that.

Sooo uhhh.... what kind of doctor is Carlos
exactly? Lock somebody in the shed and see if they get an infection?
Nice plan, genius! As if only a walker bite would get you an infection
and fever...

Yeah that just guaranteed an infection would happen so that he could go "Mmm... yes, we were right to do this."

I don't really trust him. Either he's got a malevolence behind his affable demeanor or he's just an  idiot/underground doctor who doesn't know as much as he should.

Maybe he is the Alan Harper of the group!

Carlos: "I'm Doctor Carlos!"
Sarah: "But daddy! You're just a chiropra-"
Carlos: "Silence kid! Go to your room and read your book!"

Am I the only one who got the Family Guy "Trust me, I'm a doctor" vibe from Carlos when he said the (more or less) exact same thing?

Saw the stats, I don't get the Pete choice. Is there something I'm missing? A lot of people tend to go for the "good" route and isn't abandoning Pete something which most people would hate?

If you take Nick's forgiveness ( which he offers to you whilst you're sitting at the table) for taking a shot at you earlier, I see why most people would see saving him as the 'good' choice.  You can brush off his apology but most people would look favorably on someone who apologised for something.  Pete treats you well and insists you get taken back with them, but even he can't help you  when the rest of the group think you've been bitten.

After seeing the preview where nick seems flaky and accusatory for you picking him over Pete, I'm beginning to think I picked the wrong guy.  Maybe he'll be okay.  Those who picked Pete - how does he act in the preview for ep2?

also I like the fact that Clem says 'oh shit' when she spills water - Lee certainly has rubbed off!

She only says "oh ****" if you were swearing as Lee, a nice touch.

The preview for Pete has him and Clem look at a hacksaw which pretty much confirms he was bitten. Unless this is a Doug/Carley choice, I doubt he's going to make it unless Nick got killed off-screen.

Pete will try to amputate his leg, which is sure to lead to Clem bringing up Lee's possible amputation and how that failed to work.

I won't see it though, since I chose Nick.

I hope it all ends with him getting a sweet peg leg.

Though it is established in TWD lore you can survive being bitten, if you amputate part of your bitten limb quickly.

Reason why Lee died is due to blood loss, if he got amputated.

Nope. I make my decisions and live with them, for better or worse.

Alternatives I catch online.

Fair enough.

Speaking of online, I'm doing LP myself on TWD. Here's playlist, 2 other parts will be uploaded tomorrow.

Eh I don't think it was just the loss of blood. Lee didn't cut off his arm for a long time, enough time for it to spread past his arm, where it's possible the time before Pete chops his leg off is not that long. Hopefully he does survive though.

TWD Wiki says the otherwise. And those people there are hardcore into TWD lore, so I take their word on that.

I think a lot of people saw Pete get bitten and figured that he was done for anyways, so they went for Nick. The only reason I went for Pete was because he had no ammo and needed the help more, Nick would've been fine if he was competent. Dude had 3 shots against four zombies and missed all 3 shots.

AFAIK, there aren't any established rules on how long it takes for a bite to spread enough that amputation can't save you. Other than Lee, every other character in the universe to be amputated did so within minutes of being bitten, so there's no real precedent to draw from.

So whether it was bite or blood loss that killed Lee is anyone's guess, really.

I forget, how long did it take Lee again? If it wasn't almost immediately that kind of says it all doesn't it?

Only reason I think he's screwed is because this doesn't seem like a "choose which one lives" choice, more something along the lines of the Ben choice in which things will go down the same way with different flavor. One choice sees Pete getting devoured, he'll probably be killed in another way if you spared him with Nick having returned to the home alone.

Well I saved but it's the leg injury I recon, they figure he's bit and there's no sense saving the guy who's likely going to die anyways.

As for Lee I think the amputation didn't work because he waited too long to do it and the infection spread.

Talking about the Walking Dead and Lee makes me want to start up my Walking Dead fanfic again. Throw in the Teen Titans fanfic I had to put on hiatus and my story that's taking up a lot of my time and I'm going crazy.

I reckon he didn't do it until an hour or two after the bite. After that, he went through a few more hours -- possibly half a day -- before finally losing all of his strength.
