Just finished my first playthru and really enjoyed it. The guy in Russell's story (avoiding spoilers) is an awesomely crazy character. It's set up really nicely for season 2.

So the ending clearly sets the stage of what can happen in season 2?

No, it's quite ambiguous, and differs depending on your actions throughout. In many ways, this DLC is an introduction to the cast of Season 2.

It is far from having TWD standards.

You can't relate so quickly to any of the characters (every one of them has 20 minutes approx.). It is impossible for me to "roleplay" this as a character. You're simply choosing situations. I didn't like the fact that you don't know something about every character before you play, except maybe for Vince. That was especially disturbing for Bonnie, Wyatt and Russel, who came literally out of nowhere. I can't relate to people spending 400 days in this mess within 20 minutes. Not a really good experience.

I loved TWD because you learned things with Lee, you started from scratch. I hope season 2 will fill the holes, because there is a lot of things to say.

As far as I know, the crew of 400 days isn't confirmed for TWD.

I don't think this was meant to ever have the same emotional impact TWD had. It would have been futile to even attempt it.

I loved this DLC, the stories have Telltale quality and the characters are really well constructed.

Shel and Vince stories were my favorites and I really hope they stick in Season 2.

And if you hide in the beggining of Russell's story there's a really nice easter egg there. lol

I think Nate was actually my favorite character. Complete and utter psychopath. Hopefully he'll be the main villain in season 2 and we found out why he was targeting Wyatt and Eddie as well.

It definitely gives a clear direction of where season 2 will be going with the five primary characters playing a possibly significant role.

We do know why. Eddie mentions it right at the start of Wyatt's chapter.

**** sake, my saves are not appearing up again. I clearly have the saves as I looked at my storage and the data is there.

Anyone know how to get around this issue? I'm on the 360.

Speaking about those two, I think the best shot Eddie has of showing up in Season 2 is if Wyatt gets OUT of the car, rather than staying inside.

Taking one for the team, you know?

Anywho, I beat 400 Days. I enjoyed it. Got everyone to follow Tavia and leave camp. Might replay it.

Vincent is my favourite character so far.

I liked how Boyd regrets what he did to Lee's group and I'm glad his group gets ****ed up. That's post apocalyptic justice served nice and cold.

Just played the DLC. Although it was still good overall, I was left feeling a little disappointed; 20 minutes just didn't feel like enough time for me to feel like I knew any of these characters (Wyatt was probably the worst one for this). The only stories that really "clicked" with me were Bonnie's and to a lesser extent Vince's. I'm also not sure what decides who goes with the woman at the end to her settlement, because that seemed arbitrary as f*ck.

Also, even in video games it appears I suck at Rock Paper Scissors.

Vince escapes right by the drug store from Season 1, hah.

And yeah, now we know what happened to Vernon- he didn't make it, stealing the boat didn't pay off.

*SPOILER TIME*

Vince will go with Tavia if he leaves Danny behind.

Wyatt will go with Tavia if he leaves Eddie behind or if he's told that there might be people he knows at the settlement.

Russel will go with Tavia if he's told that there might be people he knows at the settlement.

Bonnie goes with Tavia no matter what.

Shel will go with Tavia if she leaves Stephanie behind or if she's told that there are people of all ages in the group.

So basically, to make sure everyone goes with Tavia(if thats what you want), you gotta make sure Vince shoots Danny's ankle, make sure Shel leaves the diner, and then tell the group that there might be people they know at the settlement.

If you want everyone(except Bonnie) to stay at their camp, then Vince has to leave with Danny, Wyatt has to get OUT of the car, Shel has to kill Stephanie, and Tavia CANNOT tell the group that there are people they might know at the settlement or that there are people of all ages there.

Or you can just mess around and have a mixed bag. I ended up having everyone go with Tavia so I looked up the other results and what determines the results.

It'll be interesting to see how the ending affects Season 2; whether going with Tavia is a good thing or a bad thing. At first I thought she might be from Woodbury, but 400 days in is probably too late for that.

I don't know how they're gonna do it.

Going with Tavia could be the optimal choice for SOME characters, but not others. Or maybe its optimal for all. Maybe its NOT optimal and the best choice is to stay at the camp.

*shrugs*

They could go anywhere with it.

I could see a messed up result where you find the group at the settlement in Season 2, all or mostly dead. Or maybe not.

We do know this- Bonnie is guaranteed to be at the settlement by the end of 400 Days.

There's gotta be a reason why at least one person has to be there.

I assume that the settlement is something like the one that Rick's group ends up going to, and that going would definitely be a good choice (seriously, turning down safety and food is dumb as hell).

Assumed food and safety.

Think about it from a cautious person's perspective- Tavia's group could actually exist, but they could just as easily be a helpful group as they can be a group that promises safety and meals to wanderers, then brings them into a trap, takes their stuff, and kills them or uses THEM as resources(dairy farm, anyone?).

So I get the mindset of someone who would turn it down, but I also get the mindset of someone who says, "Well hell, what do we have to lose?"

Its all justifiable.

If she wanted to kill them, they'd already be dead. She even says so.
