Why is he sending groups of people to attack them? In the trailer he hints that the group themselves are quite shifty, what have they done? How does 400 days come into this and what is this major event that happens at the end of the episode?

It's implied that Carver leads the community from 400 days, he isn't attacking them and actually saves the group as they're being overrun before he immediately holds them hostage until Rebecca reveals herself and everyone in the group has their own secrets but we don't know much aside from one of them having potentially murdered their friend and the other having abandoned the group to it's fate. The major event at the end of the episode is that everyone gets captured and brought to the community, how many people die until that point is determinant on your choices.

anybody notice how the Kenny reunion was the only time so far theyve played the old Clementine theme?

Really, I don't see Carver as a villian, at least right now. How he appears does not match up what the group is saying, also does not help the group refuses to say why he is bad, he's just bad because. Put that with confirmed shadyness on some characters and a group member outright leaving everyone to die(don't even get me started on that crap Nick pulled on the bridge either which also led to a whole can of worms), and ya I don't think Carver is as evil as the group makes him out to be he's no different then them tbh.

I'm curious, how exactly does it play out if you save Pete instead? I'm guessing that he still dies and Nick joins back up with the group?

 

And it looks like I lost Alvin. I'm not sure what I was thinking telling Kenny to shoot... plot armor too strong

Yeah i'm not buying the groups story about Carver just yet. Too much unknown about both parties at the moment

He's sounding pretty fanatical to me. All this talk of 'family' and the preview of ep 3 made it sound a bit creepy to me. I've not convinced it's Tavia's group he's leading either.

Having said that, nothing is ever black and white in this game.

I feel the same. He really creeps me out with his obession for Rebecca and her baby. Puts stalking on a whole new level, lol

 

I do agree with the others though and don't believe he is as evil as the group made him out to be. So far we haven't heard his side of the story yet - so I'm gonna give him the benefit of the doubt for now.

Just finished the last episode...

   So poor Clem is stuck with I can't remember his name I'm going to go all Emo and drink myself to death Mister .I wasn't amused .But since he sort of man up and saved her life .I don't hate the guy.

I can't remember the names of the new people .It gets a bit funny in conversation , I sometimes have no idea what's going on.

Then Clem is stuck in the house with the Strange Little Girl , she seems normal.She's obviously scared and a bit out there .But I think it's her father's fault.

New Mister Creepy knock at the door , at first I was a bit suspicious , by the end I know he's just an insane a**h***.

He killed I can't remember his name , nice bald guy from the mountain lodge.

I really started to like this guy , he spared Emo guy who killed his friend, he gave food to that stupid Bonnie woman.He cooked , talked about books , ....he was friend with Kenny.

If I can Clem is  going to avenge him.

I hope it wasn't possible to save him by sneaking to look for Kenny and the orange shirt/machete guy .

 

 

I was really moved when I saw Kenny.I mean really.It was surprising.So Clem gave him a big hug.

Then later his girlfriend asked Clem if Kenny has changed , and I'm like"Hell yeah , Is Kenny high?".

Later ,i found out  he seemed more traumatized than on drugs .

 

I enjoyed this episode but it gets a bit annoying playing an eleven years old , who has to do everything.Lecture grown man about not going all suicidal , save them from walkers , always having to go "Can you all please calm down ?/eyeroll" , they can't even figure out how to cut the power from the windmill.

From the preview , I saw Kenny having a talk with Clem , about how she let his friend down , by giving up and showing herself to the Creepy guy.

This remind me of Kenny and Lee , and ...I'm tired of Kenny and his strange eternal grudge.

I'm probably going to stick to Kenny though , because he gets me all sentimental .And I don't care all that much about the new group.

Bonnie turned up with the machine gun. I though "man I wish i could've killed you in 400 Days".

 

The episode was really well written and suspenseful.Can't wait for ep 3.

If you go with Pete both of you got stuck in a cigarrette truck surrounded by walkers, he thinks of chopping his leg off but don't have the courage to do so. They wait until it's night but his transformation is already starting so he throw himself to the zombies to open path to Clementine. She returns to the house but doesn't tell what happened, when they flee the house they pass through the truck and see Pete not transformed and with a bullet on his head, probably killed by Carver.

for me only Walter died. I told him that Nick was a good guy, so he saved him. And then I had Clementine grab the gun so Kenny didn't shoot and we surrendered, so no other deaths. Interested in where Bonnie and the rest of the 400 Days cast place into this puzzle. Also, thank God Kenny is back. Had the whole, Clem-"Holy sh-" Kenny-"Clementine?" *HUG* moment

For me only Walter died towards the end. I did promise Pete after all in the beginning of the episode that i'd look after Nick. I saved his life there and i now see the debt towards Pete as repaid and Nick is non of my concern anymore.. just hope he doesn't shot someone i need

Just played Ep2 last night when it came out here (on PC at least). Had a lot of fun with it. Some random thoughts:

I really thought I would leave Nick to die or something, even after choosing him last episode but somehow I've ended up keeping him alive. Hopefully him owning up to Walter will wise him up a bit.

Damn, it felt so good to hug Kenny. Chin-quiver when he slipped and said Duck at the dinner table. Not for duck, annoying little git, but for Kenny.

I should probably hate Carver, after all he killed Walter and broke the doc's fingers in front of his daughter, and from the preview of Ep3 he seems to be leading some sort of community which might be like Negan's community from the comics, difficult to tell. But Michael Madsen.

All in all it seems like things are shaping up nicely to be quite grey, or muddied at least, in how good or bad either group really is.

As always I'll stick with trying to look after the people that deserve it. Clem's gonna get Bonnie though. "I got a family, they're starving." You just made the list, liar.

I don't know what the hell happened but there was an update for TWD today on Steam and my save became corrupted because of it.

So I just finished the new episode, since everyone else is doing it allow me to jump on the thoughts bandwagon. Here's what popped into my head while playing.

-So Kenny's mental condition has deteriorated further, wonder who he'll salt lick this time.
