I have a good feeling that Carver might turn out to surprise a lot of people, I don't agree with his actions, but I find that there is obviously some context from the past that we are missing.  I don't find him "evil" nor do I like him, but... there is something there in that current group that I don't trust.  Also, can anyone tell me how do you get the option to teach Sara how to shoot a gun?  I heard that can happen, but my Clem told her that they weren't friends because well, she doesn't know her at all

 

Overall, I loved this episode dearly and I was taking screenshots like mad.

My Clem was friends with Sarah and she literally just pulls the gun out from under her bed after you take the photo.

This episode is likely my favorite so far based solely on the awesome facial expressions Clem has been pulling.

Poor Walter, first his homie gets killed on accident and then he gets executed, and **** Bonnie for not stepping in to prevent that.

 

Like others here I get the feeling Carver will be portrayed as "Gray", as he mentions that Alvin allegedly killed somebody named George which could be why the Cabin group ran away from Carver's settlement.

I just wonder if he will be able to be on the same level as Governor and Negan when it comes to villains.

Pretty sure they were the ones who came in with automatic rifles, tied everyone up and started beating on Carlos, and threatening to kill people of Rebecca didn't show up first, so that's more of a justification for Kenny's actions than theirs. There are limits to what context can justify, right now Carver strikes me as a bit of a megalomaniac.

He shows up to the house and has a gun, he doesn't kill Clementine.

(Hypothetical) We don't know who killed the Walkers that got Pete and put him down but it could very well be Carver's group who was doing him a mercy.

He shows up and kills all the Walkers that are overwhelming the group and only begins to strike Carlos after Carlos spits on him, using his pain in an attempt to bring out Rebecca. He threatens to kill people if Rebecca doesn't show up but he never does, he's only threatening to do so.

He only kills Walter after Kenny's shot one of his men as a one-for-one trade and uses human shields to get Kenny to come out. He spares Alvin if you get Kenny to stop shooting.

 

I don't think Carver is the nicest person around but I don't think he's as evil as the group paints him to be, he has an entire community under his thumb and he appears level-headed and making decisions based on circumstances rather than going for the immediate "kill everyone because lol".

 

I don't trust Carver but he's as trust worthy as Luke and his group, the only people that I can trust being Kenny.

I didn't mind that they changed Governor in the series. However when Negan will appear, i hope he is literaly the same as he is presented in comics. They better up the rating so he can use his F bombs all he wants.

That's because his main objective seems to be to bring people under his control. I figure he'll have little issue killing people he can't force into his community.

 

He's still beating a man senseless to get a woman to come out against her will.

 

After which he proceed to kill Alvin unless you stop Kenny. They're not shields he's blatantly threatening to off them unless Kenny gives up, he'll threaten Sarita too if Clem goes outside to find Kenny and tells him not to give up.

 

Luke strikes me as far more trust worthy, something tells me he wouldn't try and stop me from leaving the group at gun point.

Glenn from the TV show is different from the Glenn from the comic. While I'm indifferent to the comic Glenn, I like the TV show Glenn a whole lot. He's a lot more badass and protective of Maggie. I also like the role he provided on the show. Hell hasn't frozen over and we already see the Asian guy get the girl. His death was pretty pointless. It didn't feel organic. Kirkman just wanted him dead since he intentionally thought up ways to kill Glenn instead of just letting the plot took place. He thought Rick should kill Glenn to save Carl, but then he just wasn't satisfied, so he created Negan just to kill Glenn. Yes, Negan was created because of Glenn, just to kill Glenn.

Hope so. Him and Wyatt were my favourite characters in it. 

 

EDIT: More of a long shot, but while I could also see this being a hatless (what?) Kenny, this kind of looked like Wyatt.

 

 

 

So if it wasn't already known, I'm guessing more 400 days characters are indeed involved.

please let it be Carl. I don't usually dislike child character, but Carl is just annoying. Hell, if the show wants a good child character, bring over Clem or an expy like they did with the comic series. Negan is not a good character. He's literally a mustache twirling villain with a God complex. The governor is a much better character. I don't like the way his character was being handle on the TV show. I'm one of the few who didn't care for Daryl, so it wouldn't be a big loss if he died. Honestly, I don't care who they kill as long as it's not Glenn, Maggie, or Michonne. I think Tyresse would be a good candidate for them to off by Negan. His character just screams zombie fodder

From a character standpoint in retrospect I love the scene as well; Clem has been cold as ice this season, but for just one moment she was old Clem, right down to the old soundtrack playing.
