Clem avatars are slowly taking over. I know at least two others with them as well. :S

Taking over you say? Clem's like a ninja

Random thought: If Kenny gets into an argument with someone this season I want him to shout "Don't make me get the salt lick." None of the characters would get it, but still.

I didn't like Clementine in season 1 but second season Clementine is sort-of growing on me, S1 felt like they were trying to rub the cutesy and "look how mature and intelligent I am!" aspect of her that it just didn't feel like she'd be a real kid. People don't tend to like kids behaving their age, look at Duck and the general reception until they forced the "let's be friends" before offing him.

I've known kids like Clem before. They're few and far between, but they're there.

She was mature beyond her years, but Telltale succeeded in the fact that she was still a child. She still had an air of childlike innocence to her, she still failed to grasp the full gravity of some situations, she was still a little naive, couldn't always wrap her head around and accept what you told her, but she wasn't what most people do when writing kids and make them complete clueless morons - which some are, but some are also like Clem. She picked up on things, she knew more than she let on, etc etc.

Some might say she was unrealistic, but I thought she was the most realistic child character to ever come around in a game.

Nate vs Carver.

It must happen.

Or clementine kills them both. Either way works for me  :D

Reminds me, now that I think about it, other than Lee out of mercy my Clementine *still* hasn't directly killed any other human beings yet. Directly.

Wonder how long that will last. Hopefully a while.

Who do you like better? Bratty, annoying Carl or sweet, mature Clementine?

Man, feck Carl.

Little shit shouldn't even be mentioned in the same sentence as Clem. :S

Which is why I hope that no-kill streak can keep going for a while.

My Clem already killed Lee, so her no-kill streak is already tainted. Not sure if it's accidental or not, but Clem caused the most deaths in the game. lol, still love her though. I'm disappointed that Robert confirmed Carl would be one of the characters who would survive no matter what. That's one of the reasons I stop reading the comic for a while. Can't stand whenever they focus on him, especially with the Negan arc. I'll read the comic again when Robert Kirkman stops worshipping Carl's d

Damn this Carver guy is one complicated character. Especially compared to some of the antagonists in season 1.

Not sure how he would be different from the governor. I'll just wait a see if he's a one-note villain in episode 3.

Not even a competition really. Now if it was Lee or Rick, you might have me stumped for a bit.

Relevant:

Didn't Telltale say elements from the TV version could be introduced in Season 2? I'm curious if we will ever see the introduction of the comic counterparts of Merle and Daryl due to the game being in the same universe as the comics.

I meant to be introduced to the universe. The game takes place in the same universe as the comic, so introducing new characters in the game makes it canon for that universe.

I certainly hope not.

Nothing wrong with Daryl or anything, at this point I just think the show universe and the comic/game universe should remain as separate as possible.

(Talking about the comics, I'm only about half way through them, about where are the game and comic in relation to eachother at this point, in terms of timeline?)

What's with all the Carl hate in this thread? I love Carl; he's my third-favourite character in the comics, after Andrea and Rick.

Everyone have their favorites, I guess. Wasn't you happy when Negan bash Glenn's face in? He's actually one of my favorites.

Um, no. I thought it was a good moment for the story, but that doesn't mean I was happy to see him die. It's like Lee's death; almost everybody loved the ending of Episode 5, but that doesn't mean anybody was "happy" about Clem shooting Lee in the face.

When you said "he also killed the biggest douchebag in the cast in a hilarious way, so he's a good guy in my book.", it wasn't referring to Glenn? If not, then I guess I misunderstood your post.

No, no. I thought it was obvious I was talking about Spencer.

Oops, never mind then, I guess I thought of Glenn since it was the most memorable death for me when it comes to Negan. Yeah, Spencer's death is one of the few moments I cheer for Negan.

Not gonna happen, many characters from the comic book are not even in the show, some characters are still alive in the show when they are already dead in the comic, dead characters in the comic are still alive in the show, some characters are not the same as the comic. The comic verse is not the same as the show verse. You can not mix the two because you'll start running into big issues.

I never said they were, and they shouldn't be. When I said comic counterpart, I meant counterpart as in how they would be tailored to the universe of the comic/game.

I think the game is actually further ahead in the timeline than even the current issue of the comic series is.
