I cried like a baby when Lee died, even his actor cried during the scene. That sadness Lee has in his voice during that final scene? That was real sadness as he was crying in the booth.

I didn't clarify that, I meant season 2 has yet to have the same effect as season 1.

Season 1 though, yeah I cried when Lee died definitely. I also had to remove myself from the game when I knew Duck was going to die too because I felt so emotionally traumatised (also I played the whole thing after all episodes came out so was binging on it which likely contributed to those feelings). When I finally went back and the events unfolded with Katja, I blubbed big time.

I'll admit, Pete's episode 2 death, the Kenny reunion and

got to me.

 

None on the same level as Lee though. Which is pretty understandable.

Kenny reunion did not make me sad, more it made me so goddam happy I cried tears of joy.

Alvin and Pete(didn't care for Pete but the scene was extremely well done) made me very sad)

 

Carver did a good job of making me angry though

The way Clem really didn't sound sure about it when she said "I killed him...I had to." killed me.

Any mention of Lee chokes me up in season 2. Though I did smile when CLem says Lee figured the walker gutts thing and Kenny lit up like a Christmas tree.

He seems to be getting some feely callbacks every episode. "Hell...he was a hell of a guy..."

 

Wonder how long it'll be before we get a full-blown Long Road Ahead zombie Clem-esque dream sequence.

I never really felt sad when Lee died. I mean, it was sad but I didn't cry.

I love it how they've been consistently busting out sadder and sadder music for each episode's credits. They even pulled the piano for episode 3. 

 

 

Wonder what the next two will be. :S

The end of episode 5 in season 1 with Lee dying was the only time during season 1 where i cried or felt any strong emotions. Most other deaths had something surrounding them that just had me end up focusing on something else or never the chance to work up any stronger emotions. So far season 2 hasn't managed to get me either too angry or too sad. Mostly solid determination which Carver ended up reciving

Yeah I thought Jane was pretty cool, in a detached sort of way. What she told Clem at the end of the preview of the next episode also sounds very ominous.

 

I have a love/hate relationship with Kenny. He's so darn likable and loyal and he's one of the few in the group who is as gutsy as Clem. At the same time he's emotional, stubborn and reckless which makes me want to roll my eyes. But then you see his gentler moments when he thinks about Duck and I'm reduced to a pile of mush. Like him or hate him, he has definitely has come a long way as a character.

I can see that. I doubt she'll be a traditional antagonist in the sense that she actually opposes the group or tries to get them killed, but it seems like she's going to be pulling Clem down a road that I don't think is a good one. 

 

Can't say I trust her very much.
