Hate to say it, but I doubt Kenny is making it through the season. I wouldn't be surprised if we end up with Clementine completely alone again.
I'm betting you the cast is already going to be thinned out even further by the end of episode 4. So I doubt this is becoming The Walking Kenny anytime soon.

‘railroading’?
That makes zero sense in a game like this. There is a finite story, it's already written with an outcome in mind, we saw as much in Season 1. We always save Clem and journey with her, we always end up on the road, Lilly always shoots someone out of nowhere, Duck and Katja always die, Ben is always acting like a dumb college kid, Clem always gets kidnapped, Lee always goes to rescue her and in the end, he always dies. Our choices in the game rarely affect that final outcome or in fact the big emotional outcomes in the story – it only affects the journey of how we get there and who we might take with us (and even that is often taken out of our hands).

Tbh i just want kenny and clem to make it through s2, i'm not really invested in anyone else (except maybe sarah) enough to warrant excitement from them. Unless there's a huge twist like Luke being bitten/being a villain, or anyone else from the genwun group comes back.

I like pretty much every character who's still alive at this point in the story, so I don't want any of them to die. But...I get the feeling, most of them are. :S

Yes, exactly. I think I conveyed my point poorly in this instance. He said he 'hoped the story wouldn't railroad anything' - my point - it railroads everything, because that is the way the game and story is structured. Get too pissed off with the railroading - then this might not be the type of game they would want to play (or too often anyway).
Personally I don't see the point against railing against it. We know how it goes regardless of the choices you make. I was hoping chopping Lee's arm off would make a difference, it didn't. I was hoping I could save Duck, I couldn't. There has been a number of choices that didn't go my way in this season too, but I fully expected that.
Finally got around to playing Episode 3.
Best episode so far IMO. Also it goes without saying, but Kenny caving in Carver's skull was glorious.
Clementine ends up alone at the end of the season or he and Clementine head out together with everyone else Walker food.
And then Kenny gets killed by some punk kid in a bathroom at the beginning of season 3.
Such is life.
