I want that to, they could keep this going for a very long time if they handled things like that. What makes me think that won't be the case is

(at least to me) there wasn't any sense of finality to the endings of season 2 and I saw all of the endings in a negative light. All Endings are inside the spoiler bracket

In the ending where Kenny dumps her and AJ off at Wellington, it didn't seemed finished because of the fact that it is mentioned that space would be available in a month, to me it raises the question as to how could anyone know that if something fishy isn't going on?

 

In both endings where Clem goes with Jane, I don't see the issue of that family as being resolved. In fact, if you let them in, you can see the "father" has a gun, also when the "mother" hugs Jane, that could have been a way to check for weapons. So based on those facts, the "family" could have very easily came back and attacked Jane and Clementine if they were turned away or if you accepted them. 

 

The ending where Clementine, AJ and Kenny wonder off into the sunset does grant some sort of closure, but I still find it lacking in the sense that we don't know what their plans are.

 

Then there is the ending that I got, where Clem and AJ are traveling alone. Clementine covers herself and AJ in zombie guts and begins to pass through a horde of walkers. It doesn't give finality due to it not showing her make it, I mean AJ could have woke up, cried, and gotten them both attacked or killed. AJ needs food/milk and Clementine isn't shown with supplies. We also don't know where they are planning on going.

 

Edit: Telltale could very easily continue off of all the endings by picking the story up years later or by

simply immediately offing whoever Clementine goes with and start season 3 off minutes from where season 2 ended. To be fair history has shown us that always happens when we get to choose between two people in the Walking Dead games.

They are working on a Borderlands game, but as far as I know it is only for the Vita (boo!). I think the next game they are making that consoles are getting is Game of Thrones and odds are that will not be a comedy

I don't remember reading anywhere that Tales from the Borderlands will be Vita only. It's still listed for multi-platforms, and the screenshots released have shown both Playstation and Xbox controls.

Kenny's endings were the more positive ones for Clementine than Jane's. After going on the Telltale forums and reading people's arguments for both, it seems that Jane's endings really just led to Jane being needy and manipulating Clem into being her new pseudo-sister, and that Clem is becoming just like Jane, even twisting a Lee-quote and misrepresenting it. With Kenny's endings, she gets to finally find a hopefully healthy place to live, AJ does as well, and Kenny gets his redemption; or they all decide to survive a few more months and try Wellington again later, as a whole family. I think Lee would've liked that. Clem on her own with AJ on the other hand, well. Y'know. Bit harsh.

 

If I had a choice, I'd go with a completely unrelated character as the protagonist for Season 3. We don't need to keep playing as people we already know;I think we'll be fine if we pick up the story of a complete stranger and run into the old story that way.

Just finished it. Great conclusion to the second series. I ended up shooting Kenny and then setting out on my own (with the baby) after finding out what Jane did. I was very sad to see Kenny go but it was a split second decision. Also sad to see Luke go, but I was pissed at Bonnie for blaming Clem and for her, Mike and Arvo for taking the supplies and hauling ass. Damn it Mike and Bonnie, I was rooting for you in episode 4! In some ways I can understand their decision to leave, but they didn't need to take ALL the supplies. Let's just say that it's going to take a while for them to win my trust back if we ever see them again (same with Lily).

Also, I really hope we get to see Christa again, they can't just leave us hanging on her fate!

Speaking of the endings: My favorite is one of Kenny endings.

Specifically the one where he abandons Clem at Wellington. At that point, despite his earlier outbursts, you see that he everything he did, he did to get Clem and AJ to that destination. He'd lost himself but lived on to see those two to safety whilst everyone else in the group only thought of their own selfish desires. In the end, his selflessness shows when he leaves them at Wellington and sets out on his own knowing full well that his chances of survival are now slim being alone and in the middle of nowhere but he got Clem and AJ to safety and so his duty is complete.

 

Also, **** Arvo that ****** commie (lol) with his fake Russian accent. Kenny should've been allowed to killed him. Those other idiots in the group won't last with their gullibility and softness, they've all just killed the Russian guy's entire family and think he's going to be loyal to them. Yeah right.

 

In the end, the only one truly thinking of the well-being of Clem and AJ was Kenny. Stupid Jane takes them back to a compromised position where they'll still need to defend for themselves (and in smaller numbers now). Kenny wants Clem and AJ to live in a place where they don't have to go around killing anymore. Whether Wellington is that place though...we'll see. I have my suspicions.

Ah jeez... so many feels. I feel like I need to play it again, not for a better outcome, but to perfect my Clem's actions and choices so the story seems more focused and has reoccurring themes.

I wish I didn't have to choose between going solo, and going with Jane. She left the baby in danger, and made me kill Kenny, all to prove a point. Then again... Kenny did end up exploding and almost killing her, which he would have eventually done anyways...

Not really. Literally the only thing keeping him going is AJ's well being, we saw what happens when that gets taken away. He is crazy, in that ending he just has what is effectively his mood stabilizer.

People have failed to see things from another perspective. Its TOO easy to hate on Kenny.

 

*Think about everything that's happened to him in such a short period of time. The guy has literally had it harder than anyone, and seeing Clem again reawakens his lingering issues with Katjaa and Duck being gone(or those issues never left)

*The guy is notably the type to explode in anger should things go wrong;the way to treat this is to show him another way, the right way

*The man has absolutey great intentions;one thing that can never be taken away from him is his end-goal of achieving the good health and safety for his family, which by the end of Season 2's case is Clementine and AJ

 

So what does Jane do? She pokes the bear, trying to get him angry and get him agitated to the point where he explodes by attacking his reputation with friends and family, and then using that as an excuse to teach Clem that this will happen? She used a newborn baby as a metaphorical chess piece in her scheme, putting it in a freezing car with the window open in a snowstorm with walkers about, lying about its health so as to create the straw that breaks Kenny's back?

 

Here's the difference between Kenny and Jane-

 

Kenny-Hot Blooded

Jane-Cold Blooded

 

Kenny isn't the type to hatch some scheme to get what he wants. He just does what he does and hopes it sticks. Jane is the type to manipulate and coerce with something she formulates in her mind and will go through whatever it takes to see it through.

 

Devil you know vs the Devil you don't;and one is much easier to predict than the other.

 

Jane was manipulating Clem into becoming her replacement-sister;that was her goal, and basically screams, "I NEED YOU!" if you decide to tell her to *expletive* off after she lied about AJ.

 

Kenny's goal is Clem and AJ's safety, which if you stick with him, he succeeds to accomplish(presumably). Personally I told Kenny that the family goes in together, not apart, so the three of us walked away from Wellington hoping to try again in a few months. We'll see how that works out.

 

That's all or mostly metagaming though;in the moment, Jane was getting on my nerves by attacking Kenny so harshly in the car while Kenny at least had a point with her, Jane pissed me off when she suggested we ditch Kenny when he left the car to find some diesel, and I got the feeling she was up to something when she supposedly lost AJ and told Clem to "trust her and stay out of it, no matter what".

 

Jane was too suspicious and I didn't feel like I could trust her towards the end. Funny thing is I liked her a lot and was so happy she was back towards the beginning.

 

But Kenny's the man, and held on to the end. I'm Team Kenny.

As much as love Kenny, he went through so much and I don't think he could've been saved. What would have happened down the line if Jane OR Clem lost the baby? Jane did make a mistake, but her point WAS proven to be correct, and the baby wasn't harmed (although it easily could have). I'm not sure my Clem would  forgive her, but I do.

I believe Jane was justified in what she did, aside from leaving AJ alone like that (way too risky). Was it cruel and underhanded? Yes. But Kenny was becoming a liability for Clem and indirectly nearly caused her death twice in the episode due to his actions (the ice lake and Mike & Co stealing the truck). And then when he suspects that Jane killed AJ he immediately attacks her, refuses to back down or at least hear her out first, and then attacks her again as soon as she puts her knife away. And no, I don't think it really matters that he would have backed down if she had admitted AJ was alive. What was she supposed to do if she had genuinely killed AJ by accident? Kenny would have just murdered her anyway. He's done a hell of a lot for Clem but that was the last straw. He needed to go.

 

I really didn't want to go with Jane after I found out the truth but I forgave her anyway. Whether or not she was justified, Clem couldn't look after AJ herself. I guess it's only appropriate that it felt underwhelming compared to the Kenny endings.

The ice lake was all on Arvo, and Mike and co. stealing the truck is on surprise, Arvo. Even had Kenny treated Arvo like a saint, Arvo never stopped looking at Clem like she was a monster;this because she shot a zombified Natasha. Kenny is not at fault for anything Arvo did.

I was pretty done with both Jane and Kenny honestly. It's a shame you don't manage to reach Wellington on your own but oh well.

That's mostly Mike and Luke's fault for trying to protect Alvo when Kenny tried to shoot him. Had he just being killed right there, all of this could be avoided. People are so quick to forget that sneaky little bastard was the one that set up that ambush that nearly got the entire group killed. So glad that wimp Luke is gone. And I hope Mike show up in season 3 just so I can give him what's coming to him.
