All I was thinking was that of course this dixie-looking tomboy mechanic would have a southern accent.

The voices sound fine to me. I'm wary of calling any accent 'fake anything' because almost any time someone says that, it turns out the voice actor is a native speaker from that place.

Accent is weird thus far but it might grow on me. Liking the diversity in tone thus far between them all. Not quite so boy-band as people had poked at it as in the past. It's actually a nice (?) contrast I think. The dude with the giant sword is currently standing head and shoulders above the others for being dad-like to Noc. Weird or not, great voice.

I'm still pissed off that you have to get type 0 on release to play the demo. That's exactly the kind of dick move I would expect from Square enix.

I just saw that promotion in a trailer for Type 0 when I saw The Hobbit 3 today. Square Enix done you hella dirty tbh.

LOL. Strangely we're getting a lot of these comments.

I personally don't find her, or that style, attractive at all. Hopefully she's more than simply T & A though.

Kind of a surprising take on a character from SE, a Japanese company. I'll be interested in where they take her.

And I'll forgive you for that last sentence

I decided it wasn't worth the trouble of carrying this thread since no one seems to care. I just post over on the SE forums anymore about XV.

Haven't had the chance to watch the demo. Was thinking about waiting until I could get direct feed and download a high quality version, but maybe I'll watch it.

Yeah I can understand the feeling. I don't know anyone here outside of you and me that's actually hyped for this. I might take a look at the SE forums.

It's in Japanese so my ability to follow the conversation is at zero but from the 33 minutes I've watched the game does seem to have a nice bit of difficulty. But that's in the enemy amount. Very easy to get swarmed from what I saw.

I don't think it could be that bad even if what's shown in the trailer and demo are the only good parts of the game it wouldn't be that bad.

This area they're showing off looks woefully bland,the rest of the game better not be massive fields with nothing in them.

From all the footage we've seen there does seem to be a varied art direction. There's already been battle footage in a city and in some kind of cave structure. I figure they keep showing this same open area because it's the upcoming Episode Duscae demo area.

Oh god that looks horrible. Continue producing failures SE.

I hope the reception of this game from users and professional critics alike is positive just to spite you.
