"Warp command moves Noctis"
Tsk. So much for that Kingdom Hearts combat. I knew something was weird.

to be fair, with KH3 being a thing now I'm actually not disappointed that they are trying to give XV it's own identity; as opposed to just being "the FF game made by the KH guys".

Xbox is not very popular in Japan, so the multi platform for KH3 and FF15 is Square-enix way of appealing to the west. Everything about FF15 screams Japanese though with the art style and such. Can't say it will do well on Xbox.
Makes me wonder if they would sell more non-PS4 copies if they were to develop it for the Wii U alongside the PS4 instead of the X1. Same goes for Kingdom Hearts III in that regard.

They may sell well in Japan for the Wii U definitely. Although I can't say anything definite regarding the Wii U since we still need to see how many people will be buying the Wii U after they announce their Zelda, Mario, Super Smashs. If their fanbase is large enough, they can justify developing a port. I would imagine that the port would cost more than the one for Xbox One due to the different specs between Wii U and Xbox1/PS4.Arcadian Legend wrote...

Yup, although I'm not sure whether it's an MMO or not.

Very excited. It looks like the pressure is on SE to come up with a hit.
We're talking about Square Enix here who, for all intents and purposes, considered Tomb Raider to be a bit of a failure.

They really didn't have to advertise Tomb Raider a whole ton. I think they spent $100 million advertising a game that was pretty known at that point.
They shouldn't have done that and blamed their Western sector for their "failure".

It looks pretty awesome, but then so did FF13 before it was ruined by awful characters and story.

I don't believe the advertising had too much to do with it, SE was on crack when they came up with the sales forecast of 6 million copies.

Maybe. Or, they had Call of Duty in mind when they saw the sales.
