Color me intrigued. Definitely enjoyed the previews/trailers so far. The new one seems to have a greater focus on open-world scenarios and showing off the Action-RPG combat. The level of detail they're putting in for some of those creatures/set pieces is delightfully ludicrous. I guess we're skipping Chocobos and going Grand Theft Fantasy. I'll take it

I have to admit that guy who's all "ermagerd a dragon" (or whatever that thing is) is kinda funny. Voice actor sounds familiar too.
The car seems kinda tacky for a final fantasy, maybe I've just been out of the loop.

I won't even start lying to myself saying that I'll not buy this game because it will be like any other JRPGs full with grinding, awkward storylines and clunky gameplay because it's BS.
I will play the hell out of this when it comes out.

Well, FF characters have always looked preposterously silly, it's just that 20 years ago the graphics capability all made them look like origami polio victims.

That is about it. The scale, the combat, the cast...HNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNG.
Edit: About female companions--one has to consider that the entire previous series wasfocused on females. Lightning, Vanille, Fang, Serah--THEY were the main characters in the plot. So it's understandable that SE might reverse it and go full-male.
Though we have Stella (who I'm pretty sure is Luna--I think the name is the same, but I can't recall if that's what she's supposed to look like), who isn't a party member (at least presently) but definitely plays into the plot and a relationship with Noctis.
My computer background is now the ending part of the trailer, with Noct standing outside of the car in the moonlight. It's gorgeous.

Very excited. This is gonna sound weird, but I got an almost Shakespearean vibe from the TGS trailer, idk why, maybe it's because Noctis and Stella are lovers from rival kingdoms/factions (at least from what I've gathered) in the same vein as Romeo and Juliet, or the idea of a merry band of men travelling around together - which is a concept I'm sure has been explored by Shakespeare before, can't say for sure where though - or perhaps it's simply the classical music. The most likely scenario is that I am simply overthinking things.

More like 2006 and still waiting. There's a 99% chance it's coming out next year. The demo release, and Nomura leaving the project to work on Kingdom Hearts III, doesn't make sense otherwise.

I believe they've said before that they're taking inspiration from Shakespeare for this game. It's been mentioned quite a bit.

Not feeling the trailer at all, do not like the road trip vibe. I miss my old FF, but that ship has sailed I suppose. Maybe after I see more my tune will change but I'm not holding my breath.
