Hey folks

I've been wondering about the grey wardens if they don't need a talent tree or some abilities.

There's no "physical" indication that you are a grey warden, you don't gain any abilities, there's only that talk about the wardens can "feel" the darkspawn.

So I would like to hear your opinion, do you think there should be a talent tree or some abilities that is unlock by level or somethink else that indicates that you are a grey warden? or maybe you just think its fine as it is?

Didn't know where to post so sorry for the inconvenience.

I really think there should have been something included with the initial game. There are abilities that you can gain exclusive to the PC, but not to Grey Warden as a whole, if you have Warden's Keep.

I wanted the sweet glowing and smoking eyes from the commercials, but a talent tree would be cool. There isn't really anything that separates the main character and Alastiar/Loghain from the rest.

I do not think Grey Wardens should get any special talent tree. Grey Wardens don't really have any special skills. They recruit the promissing people with the skills they need.

The only thing the old Grey Wardens had that set them appart from others, skill-wise, was tht they knew how to tame and ride griffons.

Other than that: Grey Wardens are exceptional at what they do. But it isn't their nature as a warden that makes them exceptional - it is their exceptional nature that gets them recruited into the wardens.

The two extra abilities you get from the Warden's Keep DLC kind of fit that role since the experimentations are related the the Darkspawn taint that every Grey Warden has.

Actually, the Survivor skill is what I'd term the "Grey Warden Skill." But, it's not unique to the PC and Alistair/Loghain, which makes it NOT a GW only skill. Kinda wish it was, since it allows you to see all the bad guys before you enter a room.
