While watching the reveal trailer for Dragon Age : Inquisition after witnessing the scene where the veil is torn wide open and fire rains from the sky and the new enemies appeared my first response was that these new enemies reminded me a lot like  Corypheus  from Dragon Age 2: Legacy because of their deformities and altered appearances.

Now this is just speculation on my part, but what would this mean if they were in fact the original Magisters that according to the lore and confirmed from Dragon Age 2: Legacy were the ones who corrupted the Golden City?

Corypheus had the ability to control/influence grey wardens as well as the darkspawn as we saw in Legacy, and he retained his memories from whenever he was human (to a point). If this are the Original Magisters how will the Tevinter mages react as the don't like the darkspawn anymore than anyone else, and I'm not sure they would be too keen on these  Magisters coming back to Tevinter to reclaim their power. If the could control both the grey wardens and the darkspawn in the middle of a massive Thedas wide war could anyone stand against them with the weaken state of their armies from the warfare against each other?
