This thread is now half the size of the other Mages and Templars thread. Whereas before, it was very small in comparison.

Doesn't take much. Maybe we should resurrect the 150 page templar thread?

Either they rebelled and escaped or they were Annuled. i don't think any Circles are still inhabited by mages.Rebel Wolf wrote...
I had to take a break after that scene i was so frustrated.
ScarMK,didn't the other circles rebel too?
Things couldn't have been that great.
I wondered how many circles had that happen.

Wouldn't a mage using their powers as a healer attract templars.
I think all of our examples are assuming this mage rebellion works out and mages get their "equality". In other news, health care cost in Thedas plummets to record levels after huge surge of healing mages compete with each other for business! More at 7.
The people in Thedas should get Obamacare![]()

Considering the "supporter" is only capable of taking the state of one circle and applying it to all of the others....
Not much was lost.
Other than the fact taht we know the Kirkwall was unlike any other Marcher Circle, and that it was certainly a worse place than Kinloch Hold and the White Spire. I think it is pretty safe to say that the Gallows were on the extreme end of the Circle scales.dragonflight288 wrote...

It's impossible to call Kirkwall the complete anomaly since there were 14 Circles and we've only really seen 3.
Indeed. Kirkwall is the prime example of how a Circle should NOT be run.EmperorSahlertz wrote...

Agreed with Emperor and eluvianix. Though to be fair Kirkwall in general wasn't that good example of a Thedosian city either. I'm not pro-qunari, but I agree with the Arishok's opinion about the city.

No way to explain it?...
Those giant statues of slaves, and the giant chains everywhere are kind of obvious. I doubt that they add to the peaceful ambiance in the city...
Weren't there 2 ginormous slave statues that guarded the harbor and could like raise a net or something to block it off?EmperorSahlertz wrote...
