Since I belonged to what seems like the small minority that actually loved both DAO and DA2 of course I will pre-order

This is stupid and it's going to start stupid arguments about something that's too far away to even talk about.

I loved DA:O and thought DA2 wasn't that bad, but I still wont pre-order.

I don't really see the need to pre-order something when I'm buying digital. After games like A:CM I'd be pretty hesitant to pre-order even if I did see a benefit to doing so.

The only games I've pre-ordered recently were Skyrim, ME3 and DA2, I'm only planning on pre-ordering Fallout 4 (when ever its released)......I'll wait a while but i'll probably pre-order  DA: Inquistion before its released as well.

I am going to pre-order. Like the benefits and I don't want to wait to play.

I know, I know...we have a loooooooong way to go before this is released.  But now that we have been teased with a trailer and release window...and bearing in mind history (e.g. DAII and ME3 butthurt), who will be pre-ordering this?

I'll answer first: I'm leaning towards it.  I loved DO:A and while I understand the gripes regarding DAII, I still thought it was a great game (so did Angry Joe, so come at me bro LOL).  One day...after I get through my pile of unplayed games...I will play both again.

I loved all three ME games and while the initial ME3 endings really put a bad taste in my mouth; the Extended cut, Leviathan and The Citadel (...my God...THE CITADEL) made me put down my pitchfork and torch.

So, to answer the question: Yes.  I think I will.

You're far more forgiving of ME3 than I am. But, that being said... I think I might actually preorder this one. We'll see. I have a year and change to think about it. :?

I am definitely planning to pre-order this, even the special/collector's edition if they have it.

And here's why:
1) From my understanding, the Dragon Age team really didn't have anything to do with Mass Effect 3, especially the ending.
2) After the fallout from DA2, the Dragon Age team basically came out and said: We see that we made mistakes, here, here, and here. We care, we are listening, and we're going to do much better in the future. Whereas the Mass Effect team, after the ME3 fallout, basically said: Mistakes? What mistakes? All I see is artistic integrity.

So since I love the Dragon Age series, and believe that the DA team shouldn't have to pay for the ME team's mistakes, I believe Dragon Age: Inquisition is worth pre-ordering. But of course, this is all completely my opinion based on what I believe to be true. So yeah. ^_^

Given the chance I would pre-order Dragon Age: Inquisition today.

I love Thedas so much that I even started to play / GM Dragon Age RPG. It's a great tabletop roleplaying game.

I will only pre-order if there is some special gear included as a bonus. I always play as a Mage and for the most part they get the short end of the staff (pun intended). So if a really good set of robes or super good staff came with a pre-order special edition I'd probably would. However, if they kill off some people I like (Merrill, Hawke, Leliana) I won't buy it out of spite. I am NOT a gamer I got into DA due to the level of actual character development and interaction so if they kill off everyone I have come to like in the game there is no reason for me to play it.

Lisa you are so right! DA2 is actually a lot better than most people on here give it credit for. I loved it and I play it more often than DAO to this day.

I think DAO was so good that people were expetcing the same thing in DA2. I know it had some issues but as a pure fun factor its great! I would still be paying lots of $$$ if they were releasing more DLC. I think they really lost a good revnue stream by not having anymore DLC TBO.

100%. Dragon age, although the second one had poor gameplay, is one of my favourite series'. The story and characters in both games is incredible (Origins in particular.) Mass Effect is my favourite series of all time, and although the ending of ME3 dissapointed me greatly, it is still one of my favourite games. So I will pre order for sure!

More then likely I'll wait for all dlc to be released in a all-in-one game edition or wait and buy the game and dlc piece by piece for super cheap.

I loved both Origins and DA2, so I always knew I'd be pre-ordering.

Doesn't matter what i'm going to do really. I know I will play it, the question is more of when.

Ergo...I asked if you would be pre-ordering it (i.e. playing it sooner rather than later).  Silly rabbit.

It doesn't really matter what you asked, its a silly question to begin with :P

Probably not, BioWare has lost that trust from me. If I see favourable reviews from people and sources I trust I may end up buying it though.

I will be pre ordering two, one for next gen and one for Xbox 360. If there is a collectors edition I will happily get those.

There might be games I pre-order, but definitely not DA:I. Even if the user reviews turn out to be good I'll likely wait for the first patches, probably the first DLCs to be released.

I won't. I have no intention of skipping the game at this point, but I am done with pre-orders for games. The disappointment of ME3 and Halo 4 have ruined my excitement of pre-ordering games. I will wait for reviews, then likely buy the game. I will only skip this game if there is some major issue with it.

I am not going to pre-order it (like I automatically used to with BioWare games), BioWare have lost my trust and now I won't buy their games until I see the fan reaction to them.

In a heartbeat. I'm completely excited and looking forward to DAI and I'd pre-order it anyway even if I was on the fence because I know that no matter what I heard I'd still have to check it out myself. I'm hopeless, I'll never pass up a Bioware title - too many good memories.
