Oh this is all on me! It wouldn't be a bonus if it didn't make you cringe plus you guys need real challenges. You'd get bored with easy ones! I'm looking forward to trying this one.

@bgsam: Yeah, I admit it was kind of not cool on my part, but I really wanted to put out that challenge too. Either way, It would have been in the weeks to come. Don't worry, once you've achieved the title, you don't just lose it man.

Good to know but I am a perfectionist both in personal and professional (well, my profession demands it) life. So, I am def. gonna try it, rage quit, rage rocket, rant about the map, game, bioware, curse the phantoms and dragoons to no end....It's all inevitable. So, be prepared to read through my rage posts in the group... LOL

Actually, I already gave it a shot. Got to wave 3 and seeing how amazingly fast vindicator and raptor was killing enemies, I thought it would be unfair to Cerberus and quit the game LOL.

@bgsam: I hear you. I'm also a perfectionist. Hence why I will complete all of these at some point. I'll be range-ranting too, no worries.

@shards: Yeah, I'm low on like everything right now. lol melee all the way! Edit: and thank you, someone who sees that that can be a fun challenge!

Might just be my playstyle but 50 melee kills is crazy outside of melee kits(krolord, shadow) especially on solos when everything is targeting you.

On the Justicar solo I killed every enemy with melee for the first 2 waves except the last 2 guardians on 2 and still didn't have the medal. Luckily I got it during cleanup of wave 3 because waves 4 and 6 through 10 would be tough for getting melee kills. Too much phantom BS.

Wave 9 disconnected, only to then be followed up incessant BS from Collectors so I can't make it past wave 7 with more than 2 medigel.

 Gozu District - Insanity
Very slow solo with a lot of kiting. Mostly because I wanted 10 WS medal to complete my quota of 4 gold medals. I don't care for the vindicator, so AR medal is out. And getting biotic and tech medals with just shockwave and subnet is painful. 3 killstreaks is possible but on a large map like this, I didn't put my hopes on that. The only thing left was 10 WS. 50 melee...well....not with collectors.


Objectives: Escort > pizza > escort

I am happy with this time because despite the map and enemy faction being something I like, the character is something I am not a huge fan of. The buggy nature of shockwave and subnet repels me from liking this character (I like all other Batarians). Kishock is something that fires blanks far too often....so, not my favorite either.

@Pres: I am sorry if I sounded a tad rude about the bonus Cerberus challenge and you going against your word. You are doing a marvellous job with this thread and I am not gonna complain...It's just that the thought of another Cerberus solo gives me headache. But, you know me, I will get it done...Falcon punching can never be boring....

Week 16 Insanity.



I was going for 10 WS and 50 Tech kills, taking forever chasing down abominations and waiting for submission net to kill things extremely slowly, kiting and entirely failing to realize only four personal gold medals were required, not five. Derp, that's what I get for trying to do challenges after having been up since about 3:30am this morning. I almost rage-quit when I died in wave 10, too, thinking I'd failed the challenge... glad I didn't.

Have a video, it'll take forever to encode and upload, will post it later, maybe.

Nice job bgsam on the first insanity completion of this week's challenge and to Kany on the new quickest time so far for the hardcore challenge!

@bgsam: no worries. and technically, I didn't go back on my word . This week's isn't against Cerby. I just wanted to add a second challenge (I know, technicalities) lol

Hopefully I have a sec to attempt both of these tonight! Maybe not, considering my soldier is lvl 1..

OK, I will stop being nitpicky and post the video for this week's insanity challenge.

Edit: I went for the 10 ws medal for the 4 gold medal requirement. Should have just farmed grabs..that would have saved a lot of time...oh well...

Tried a few times with the FQE, but always failed the 10 waves survived. So i took out the soldier, never played him before and i did it with my first try. But he still sucks, so does my time^^

For this weeks challenge, what recharge speed do you have when u Warp someone? in the builder it says 13 seconds. We have to equip both weapons with the omni blade, right?

It doesn't say to use the Omni Blade on the shotgun - just the shotgun blade attachment.

My in game cooldowns were around 4-5 seconds with Raider (Vanilla Blade and Smart Choke) + Vindicator (ULM and Omni Blade).

 @noeschi: Raider needs only the shotgun blade attachment, not the omni blade. I used this build for my solo. It says 4 s recharge time on warp, which is OK.
My tactic was shoot with raider > warp (FE) > grenade (BE).
Recharge time was not a huge concern for me this way.
