Clever use of gameplay mechanics....LOL
And I immediately removed it from my original post after posting becasue it happens due to the bug and not a generic occurance.

@bgsam: Yeah, I noticed I had missed yours in the update right after posting and then quickly fixed it in the HOF, but you beat me to looking at it haha (I just updated my other post to your name instead of tupari. lol sorry tupari )

@noeschi: Nice job getting that run on your first attempt. I admit, the insanity is quite difficult with the 10 waves survived. what was your build like for that run? As for this week, it's as bgsam and aaron mentioned, shotgun blade required, not the omniblade

The Soldier build is not the best, i never used tac scan. Sabotage was my panic button.

The FQE was specced for teamplay, think thats ok. Have no respec cards atm

^ Yeah, I knew I wouldn't use the tactical scanner with the arc pistol myself, so I maxed out sabotage (and loved it!). Combined with disruptor ammo (which I know may not have been the best ammo choice), I just found that the enemies were always stunned or shooting eachother. It was pretty effective for me.

Also, I'm too much of a scrub to not have health passives for the Quarian female engineer if I'm trying to go for 10 waves survived!

Well I'm more than pissed off now. 4 near flawless insanity Gozu runs, not a scratch with minimal ops used and 1 rocket. All 4 times I get devices on wave 10. Fail.

Need a break.

Oops, shotgun blade required and not the omniblade? Uh... that might have helped my recharge times. Also I noticed insanity is kishock and/OR the vindicator? Considering I also thought five personal medals were required, I apparently did not read very closely... lolsleepdeprivation.

So, I tried the bonus challenge. Its actually not that difficult but requires lots of patience early on as you'd be chasing enemies for falcon punching. I got downed on wave 5 after 36 mins and just quit after that.

Not too painful but tedious. Will try again tonight.

@bgsam: Yeah, I wanted the melee requirement to emphasize bat punching. It's just too fun, especially with a build focused somewhat on melee.

I'm the same way. I'm more about the completion since I just don't have the time (or equipment) to rage-quit too often after devices! I still have to complete all the challenges lol Hopefully I can get a couple done tonight

I just wish I had the liberty of having the equipment needed to pick and choose my objectives in game. If you look at most of my worse times, it's with terrible objectives. I can't simply hack credits just to get stuff. I dislike playing with pugs, so I solo glacier gold in 20 minutes just to farm. I'm getting tired...

I came within minutes of completing the bonus challenge. 50 melee and 5 waves survived medals, both in the bag. Wave 10 objective was devices - finished it. Phantoms were making their way to my position and I turn around to run. Then I bump into an atlas which staggers me with melee and then sync kills me....

So.Many.Wave.10.Fails!


And there goes my last cyclonic IV. Time to farm some credits...

Week 16 Hardcore:


I died 5 times on wave 7 and used all my gel. I did another run that felt faster but was about 2 minutes slower. I'll try a few more over the next days to see if I can improve.

LOL.....As an officer though, I am okay with that submission. You have my permission to submit that to HoF. But seriously, that was hilarious

On another note, just got two cyclonic IVs in one arsenal pack. My luck swings from amazing to horrendous. Will give the bonus challenge another shot!
