Morning HoF update

Also Congrats Bgsam and ReaperRed on the first two completions for the Legends of Lore [Platinum] category of themed Challenges

Peak 15 - Epic difficulty 
This one took way longer than expected, mainly because I am hesitant to nuke spawns in waves 5 & 8 coz of a potential wave 10 targets, and wave 9. Seriously, whoever designed wave 9 reapers platinum hates the players. 3 husks on a plat wave 9....are you kidding me....that wave just went on and on and on..... <_< (Felt like husk mode for a moment)
And also Banshee barrier regen is ridiculous...I take a moment to activate my siege pulse and she's already regen'ing...


Objectives: Pizza > hack > pizza (temporary blessing from RNG god)

Juggernaut + GPS
Gear: Incendiary III, shotgun III, adrenaline III, geth scanner V

I know I can do better but I am not gonna bother. At the end of the day, it's a Plat solo, which is so tedious and hence, no retries. Also, this is probably the only challenge I could do without cyclonics III or IV (no IVs and used my last III for haestrom)

Volus merc sentinel with avenger and shuriken, vs. collectors on condor....
It was one of the bonus challenges..(Barla Von was the theme)

With enough kiting and patience, anything is possible. I am, however, not the most patient one here.

Here's the video for platinum week 9.  That... will probably be the only plat entry for me.

Objectives were objects/area hack (non-cheesed)/area hack (cheesed).

I figured it was a good chance to bring out my Javelin, because for the last two weeks or so all my UR drops have been all Javelin all the time and it's now at 9.

I'm not the world's greatest sniper, and that's not me trying to be modest, watching other videos of Javelin GIs on the PC usually have much better quick-scoping and far fewer missed shots. So just the slight screenshake from all that cannon firing on Giant Hazard pretty much drove me up the wall, plus my hands started to fall asleep after the 40 minute point...

If anyone does watch, 26:30 is the best grab. The best.

Peak 15 - Epic Challenge with GPS.
This was such a tedious effort...wave 9 took 16 minutes. 3 husks on such a high-budget wave is so painful. And I couldn't focus on phantoms and banshees that wave because those damn husks were always spawning next to me and always in my face. 

Edit: And thank goodness I had the adrenaline module III on. It would have been even slower without it.

It was going to flawless up until wave 9. Made a mistake, went down. So I rocketed all the things for wave 10. Devices, pizza devices

You don't know just how upsetting it was, so close to a flawless platinum, melee-centered pulse rifle run lol

^ that is impessive. Rough to get so close. So you switched to melee focsed from weapon and power focused in the gold challenge? Better for survivability, makes sense.

Not power, however most of my kills were melee and hex combo. Not to much siege pulse this time. Need dat DM

Here's a redo for Week 1.

I've done my grind of a plat solo, back to fun times in gold for me... This is the only oneI've really wanted to redo, since it was three months and 250 hours of playtime ago. I figured it would be kind of interesting to compare how I
play back then and how I play now (and see if I've actually improved).

Of course, I have better equipment now and the game handed me three escorts on a silver platter, so there's that.



So with that done, no redos on any of the hardcores, I'm satisfied with them and my weapon amp levels have reached a critical low point. But I'll do some insanity and try some of the bonuses this weekend! 

I've got a backlog of this and two other gold videos to upload now...
