^ I've had the same query, and me and Prestacious had a discussion about this. He was willing to let us use armored compartments instead of mental focuser but the power amp rule stays as of now.

I am being badly trolled by the game. The phantom sync kill was follwed by an atlas sync kill, which was then followed by a phantom sync kill. All deaths were cheap and happened on waves 7 or 8 with the time being sub-20 at that time. No more patience left. So, I've uploaded the 31:29 run.

That is rough, ya. I got sync-killed a lot because I was trying to be aggressive, way more than usual in my attempt to get a sub-30. But when the game trolls you, there's nothing you can do. Finally, I just gave up lol.

Another major HoF Updated

@leboss: bgsam is spot on with the Jack challenge (thanks for the response btw bgsam). The character requirements remain (power amp and warp ammo) but with all platinum you can use AC

Also, with regards to the platinum challenge entries. I think I can be a little more flexible with those and accept screenshots as well. This will give people who can't record an opportunity to get their completions posted as well. I think vids should still be done if possible, cause people do enjoy checking them out but I'll accept screenshots.

Edit: and just added you HoL run Hendrix. Impressive! Looking forward to the vid

Why have I never fixed the omni-button...and why did I even try this challenge? Apparently I should go to sleep.

edit: Just read the rules again. "- The character and weapon requirements stand, however medal and waves-survived requirements are waived :)"

Does that mean the Krogan challenge doesn't have to be flawless?

Yes it does. the flawless krogan challenge ends up being a regular plat solo

Edit: (The platinum rules work out so that certain difficult challenges on gold end up being some of the easier platinum solos, but I figured, it's still a platinum solo which is difficult in itself).

Also, I can't believe you got to wave 8 flawless. I feel like I should make a wave survived requirement on that one now,  in honor of that attempt.

HoF updated, I also added that clip to the critical mission failure list, cause yeah that's still impressive..

The completionist in me was a bit irritated that I had no video, I decided I'd give this one another run... but it has no sound because MSI Afterburner goofed. I haven't had much luck recording gameplay for this this combo...

I still just have a Wraith IV so I'm not surprised the time is only about 2 minutes better. It feels like it takes about 75 years to take down an atlas.

Just me being inattentive, I didn't even look at my weapon mods prior to starting the match, nor did I realize the last time I'd used that novaguard with the wraith was prior to unlocking HVB, hence the shredder/high caliber combo. So basically, I derped.

I personally use only the HVB and spare ammo for that solo. No need the choke when you're gonna be in the enemy's face about 97% of the time.

Morning hall of Fame and Critical mission failure updates

Nice job bgsam on the sub-30 and ReaperRed on the very quick time!

@Desio: I'm away from my pc this weekend, so I'm just making updates when I can, however, I will consider your idea for challenges that are a little easier (silver) perhaps and get back to you in the next couple days. I actually think it's kind of a neat idea It would make these challenges more accessible to people just starting out or for those who are not used to soloing gold.
