Week 21 Hardcore
I think the very first video I posted on my youtube channel was also my first gold solo with the Krolord, six months ago... and that may have been the last time I played him, too. I don't Krolord often enough...

That was a mission failure for Monster Mash Insanity. Would have had the 5 waves survived had a damned praetorian not blocked my ladder escape on wave 9. He also should have died in two heavy hammer swings. Fml.



This on the other hand is a mission successful for the Monster Mash Hardcore. This was on my second attempt and the objectives I got was hack>devices>pizzas. Decent objectives. I hadn't played my Krolord in a while so I was still a bit rusty.

DId you use the Striker like a stagger stick? That's what I did cause I had disruptor rounds on.

I think there were some waves where I didn't even fire it once, actually. I let the Hammer do all the work.

I am not certain as to what made you take this drastic decision but I don't care, and I trust your judgement. It was great while it lasted and I had tremendous amounts of fun doing these solos. I applaud you for coming up with wonderful storylines behind the solos and maintaining this thread for about 5 months or so.

Sorry to hear that you're moving on, but I respect your decision. Thanks for the time and effort you put into maintaining this thread and coming up with so many interesting and creative ideas for solos! It was a blast.

Honestly, this thread and group has been one of the highlights of Mass Effect Multiplayer for me. The comraderie that a single weekly thread can build is truly remarkable.

Thanks to everyone who has ever given any of these challenges a go and special thanks to the regulars and officers who have spent so many hours in theme, raging and struggling through, and ultimately successful in these weekly pursuits.

I think I just came to the realization that all good things must come to an end and that this was the time. I will stand by my word however. There will be one last post. The final N7 week post will be a thank you to all of you and to the Mass Effect franchise, for indulging my imagination and for offering me this opportunity to express a little creativity.

I won't abandon this thread. It will remain open and all challenges will always be open for any of you who feel like tackling new solo challenges. The Leaderboard will continue to be updated to see who is the quickest themed soloist out there.

This thread was pretty much the only reason I kept playing ME3. A HUGE thank you goes to Prestacious! Hoping to see you again in Mass Effect 4 (or whatever comes next).

Hey Prestacious, thanks for even starting this thread in the first place. Week Four (Now I Am Become Death) was what inspired me to try soloing in the first place, and although I found that it wasn't my forte, it was some of the most fun I've had playing ME3.
