Longer is better for so many things, why not solos?

If only I'd recorded it, you could have seen the bit where he uses his shield to build a tent and take a nap for an hour .

More seriously, I need to work on my banshee take down skills in solos. How I'd have loved my asari huntress with this challenge .

^Yes, banshees can be quite annoying. I feel that soloing really is a distinct skill in this game, the more you do, the quicker your solos will get Sometimes we see great squad players try soloing and it's like they're playing a whole different game, and vice versa! It's just a different challenge.

I re-did the Fury challenge for 10 WS. Wave 10, 2 ravagers left for clean up and no gels used so far. And I die just as I take down one of them. It was partly due to my stupidity but I feel cheated 
Here's the video of the epic fail moment. I even had an ops pack left. I went down so fast that I couldn't even use it. 

So near and yet so far!
Time was 24:25 when I bled out. Could've been quicker than my original run.

^Ouch...a similar thing just happened to me while doing Bray-Fist (got caught in a never ending stunlock at the end of 9), so I had to redo it for the 10 WS.

You went down way too quickly. Ravager shenanigans. Earlier today, I was playing with the havock. I shoot a ravager, charge (full shield), as soon as I make contact, I die. Total BS, pretty much like your video.

Annihilation with 10 WS 
Finally did it after 6 tries where the game kept throwing BS after BS at me with triple devices, triple targets, troll spawns, elbow of doom with 10m radius, annihilation field bugging out etc etc.. In one game, a banshee warp went through the glass panel overlooking the LZ to hit me (wave 10 devices and I was out of ops packs) 
Time is quicker than my original run, which is always pleasant.

Video later in the night.
That makes it 11/21 10 WS. Halfway through

183 Pull-ups with 10 WS
Took cue from my week 2 run and resorted to grenade spam. With rio being generous regarding grenades, I was able to spam them all the time. Used the katana btw.

Objectives: Central hack (cheesed it) > devices > escort (an extremely easy one)

Thanks. Rio is very grenade-friendly - the ammo box by the box of shame gives 3 grenades!!!! I am sure you'll get this done soon . Grenade capacity is OP and so exploit it lol.
I admit that glitching the hack is cheap. I do it all the time. If I didn't, it would force me to kite the enemies once or twice depending on the location and I tend not to kite much. (I used to kite a lot when I was new to soloing but now, I prefer not to.)
I can't run with the pizza consistently, so this is my way of exploiting a silly game mechanic lol.

There are a lot of hack/character combinations which are simply not possible without kiting or wasting a ton of equipment, so I have no problem with glitching it. Without the glitch hacks would just become another RNG grind, but with it, Devices are the only game-breaking objective left (if you're a soloer). That means you have roughly a 50% chance of getting decent objectives.

If I get a really easy hack I usually don't glitch it, but then again, in this situation it wouldn't make a big difference if I did.

Morning HoF update

Great job bgsam, hitting the 10 waves survived and shaving 10 mins off your time. haha Very nice.
@hendrix and AW_FC, I agree on the hack glitching. I'm fine with it. It's a "clever use of game mechanics". I don't do it in squad games or if it's an easy hack. Also, if I can't pull it off, I usually make it a point to suffer through without leaving the hack (If I can!) as I did in the EDI run here

Awaking the eye of wrath w/ 10 WS  
Did this yesterday night but forgot to post. I love me some warp+incendiary cheese. 
And also dat Claymore . By far my most satisfying gun to headshot with. 
(Was my second go at the 10 WS..bonus points for guessing my wave 6 objective on the first try , which made me use a gel)

13 done, 8 to go!

And we have a winner lol. Got stunned by dragoon smash just in time for a phantom mini-thanix cannon volley. I was praying for no devices and RNG listened to me. As usual, saved 4 missiles for wave 10 in case of targets because lolphantom DR. Probably added a few minutes but I don't care. 10 WS is more delicious than any speed run to me.

Yeah me too. Wave 6 Hack against Collectors with a Phaeston was pretty ridiculous, but I was lucky. Often I still refuse to leave the hack even when it's an impossible one. I usually waste all Ops Packs and Medi-Gel and go down with the hack anyway. I'm like the captain of a sinking ship... xD

Haha perfect ending to that hack! You have to love that moment when your realize you didn't cheese the hack and have to go back into the circle of doom.
