[Catastrophy]

The quest continues:
Evidence gathered by the AIU suggested I should look in the Krogan DMZ . Little was I prepared for what I found there. Nor were the civil police forces - it was pure slaughter.
I was able to contact a stout officer of the local garrisoned militia while he faced these "things". His report suggested they were facing "Reapers", a sort of zombified cyborg force made from various galactic species.
I've ordered my AIU to investigate the DBs for additional info about these creatures as it didn't allow me to deactivate it after the Cerberus mission



Unfortunately the officer was unable to make it to the extraction zone in time. I had to leave when a wing of big zombie flyers approached.



Gah, I'll leave this for now. I think that was my first Reaper Gold solo. My pacing around Giant sucks hard and I'm having a bad time against banshees, resulting in too many additional circles around the map. 3 times Banshee destroyed my attempts - two of them were very promising.
Objectives were Hack - Hack - Escort; I think mooks might be coded to stay at the hack circle - I couldn't kite them away.

Reg. hacks, you may consider cheesing it. I do it all the time, especially wave 6/10 hacks. A bit cheap but hey, it gets the job done

It was a bad call in the very last seconds. I had 6 enemies kited to the control room, went around to the ladder, climbed up and glimpsed the shadow of what looked like a Husk running around a corner. Fearing a Marauder I didn't beeline to the LZ but took the detour through the rubbled builing, promptly bumping into the pillar/support that lies across part of the floor.

I don't think I want to redo this challenge because Damn Cerberus!
Everyone has a gun, including the stupid dragoons. And everyone were trying hard to ****** me off, even more than they tried to kill me. 

The Nemeses were constantly ripping off my shields which I already had a little. In fact, in one game somehow three nemeses decided to shot me at the same time. First one took down my shields, the second one brought me to the brink of death and the third one trolled me hard. I rage missiled and then quit. 


Phantoms were dancing in front of me like strippers and refusing to submit to my net. So I burnt them in the reactor core for payback. 


Engineers were deploying turrets literally on every corner. In this game I saw 4 turrets while running from an atlas and at the end of 7th wave, five engineers attacked me at the same time. This is the first time I saw 5 of the same enemy type in a wave. 


Oh and the Atlases and their trolling missiles and their smoke and centurions' smoke and their grenades and troopers' grenades. God, it was a nightmare! I'm glad it's over.

N1-III

After visiting the Krogan DMZ we needed to resupply on Thorium and Tritium badly. The manouevers to evade the Reaper flotilla we encountered there put a heavy strain on our already scarce resources.

To our dismay we discovered that the Reapers already had destroyed the local fuel stations. They act pretty much like a military. Is this a war?
The AIU digged up some stuff about the Citadel incident and the involvement of Shepard. Unofficial channels indicate that Shepard's been reinstated to active duty, too! She wasn't even court martialled! Or was she? I feel there is some serious sh*it brewing up.

We were heading for Cyone to refuel again and to get rid of that pesky AIU that keeps me bugging about the red tape only to find out that our fuel depot was being assailed by Collector forces. Collectors? Here? What's next, Geth? Haha, I'm kidding.
I don't know what they were up to since I was busy picking off the large ones with our vessels armament, but I'm glad the Turian infiltrator handled the in-house situation. All he did was asking for a new barrel for his Phaeston. It was luck - the local garrison couldn't have dealt with the thread but the Turian got cut off from his troops. I promptly offered him to join the team - even if it's just until he can get a ride back home.

Now back to the paperwork - I dread this stuff. I wonder if Shepard ever bothers about it. She sure never did back then in boot camp. Ah, well - things have gotten pretty complicated since then.

The hardest part were the husks. I suffered from ADB-sickness and got humped a lot until I turned to eliminate them all. It was Devices - Hack - Escort. Hack circle was a cakewalk, a Scion blocked the door of the reactor so the Praetorians could not get through, lol. I love the big clumsy dudes - they are so happy targets. I can't make the hack glitch work so I'm probably stuck to do it like intended.

I've been trying to get better at sniping and decided to do this solo. Good learning experience

Dat wave 2...made me use 3 ops packs.
Got decent objectives - escort > targets > hack (cheesed)

I give up 2 feet from extraction and I get stunlocked backwards. I probably won't attempt this again. I even had wave 10 devices.

I finally completed the week 1 challenge after 20ish attempts that mainly ended in rage quits after I did something stupid or got trolled by objectives.



Objectives were area hack, escort, area hack. I had an extremely lucky moment at the end of wave ten when the last tics of reave saved me from a banshee sync kill (it dropped me) when it was the only enemy left.

I'll have video up within the next few days (probably tomorrow) along with video of my two non rage quit failures (one of which resulted from me forgetting to set the lobby to private).

After doing this I have to say that the wave 7-11 wave compositions make soloing reapers extremely difficult when using a kit has difficulty dispatching bosses quickly since the combination of fast and slow units makes kiting a giant pain though part of that may just be from goddess being such a small map.

Just completed N6 Level II - Next of Kin

I had an excellent game, almost 10 WS and probably would have finished sub 40 mins. But at wave 8, a trooper put a net in front of me while I was running away from a scion. I got stuck and died immediately.
The game was ruined for me at that moment and I lost my desire to play any further.

Tried again and played casually so this is the result. I will redo this later.

Oops, I missed those earlier ones. Well, Geth definitely adds a level of difficulty for soloing. Gotta love that stagger. Good luck on the remaining four!
