Great time on that! Well, seeing your and TechnoTurian's times on those duos, I should have suspected that it wouldn't have been as tough! I'll check out the vid later today. I love the critical mission failure vids btw. That phantom, atlas team-up :/ painful.

For week 3, when I had initially posted it, it was a bit of a different build from how people usually play the drell adept (I think) so there was some novelty to that which may be lost. I still really enjoyed that challenge, however - grenades and plenty of footage for mission failure! You can also always go for the viper if you want a change-up as well

It could have been faster though. I think I'll redo thisone at somepoint.

The gold duos and the asari plat duo weren't bad but the drell plat one is brutal. I would guess it took us 15-20 attempts to complete it. We eventually adopted a wave 3 or bust standard for the waves survived medal but we ended up violating that in our succesful attempt.

I will be doing the viper version since my plan is to do both the hardcore and insanity challenges as I go through the weeks but I will be skipping the bonus challenges for now.

^ Yes, that was an impressive duo and still the only successful one posted. I think the wave 3 or bust is a fair standard, despite the equipment loss that that entails. I need to find more ppl on xbox willing to duo the platinum challenges (I'll be online in 5 hours or so if anybody is interested) or even the gold ones for that matter.

I'm glad you're joining in on the fun and going for the Insanity and Hardcore versions. There are a total of 66 challenges that have been posted! Happy hunting I'm still working on many of them!

PS Watch out for burnout haha. I feel like this thread has made people quit mass effect, rage-uninstall, break furniture (*cough bgsam*) among other rage-related actions. lol

This weekend I attempted to do the N1 first challenge. I made 4 attempts, all 4 of them ended with me failing on a 4-device objectives (two of them in wave 10, one wave 6, one wave 3) running out of time.

That map (white) is just too small with too many pathways to reach anywhere quick for lolgoons and phantoms. Several times I was down to the last fraction of a second almost completing the device when I got knocked out by a phantom or dragoon. Then I have to kite them away again run back rinse and repeat until I run out of time.

It is so frustrating, maybe if I re-spec to duration cloak I could do it. But I'm not sure its worth 2 re-spec cards (because I would want to switch back to damage afterwards).

Devices are brutal on White. It sounds like you just have a stretch of bad rng luck. What's your build like? Maybe people who have completed the challenge can offer changes that worked for them.

Your AIU build is fine, I think it's just bad luck on objectives. Also Cerberus loves to camp devices so it is a bit difficult to pull them off of it. Devices on 6 is brutal cause of the engy, dragoon, and phantom comos. Wave 10 is only hard cause half the wave composition is phantoms but more doable than wave 6 devices. Another factor is the device placement. If you get the bad spawns, then you're in for a rough time. Luckily on White there's only about two to three bad spawns. Unlike some other maps where there are more than that *cough* Condor *cough*. I also put in the armor bonus an adrenaline module III. You can literally sprint from the back end of the map to the lower labs in roughly 5 seconds with repair matrix active. That is if you went for max speed increase on it.

@Zso_Zso: I'm rage-quitting each and every run when getting devices on that lolgoon wave 6. Saves me a lot of ops-packs and gel....and nerves. If you are aiming for a decent time when soloing, devices are the worst objective, closely followed by targets which will cost you at least one missile that you could have used for spawn nuking. Kiting and patience are the only ways to get devices done and both will ruin your time. So if you have a nice amount of good equipment, just redo the run and hope for better objectives.

Tried End Run this morning and was on fire. Had 9 waves survived then got center hack. I was soo happy to get hack and went to cheese it. I failed to activate it the first time then got downed going back for it. Finished the solo at 34:10!! Was probably one of my best solos so far ruined by center hack London.

I decided I'd skip ahead earlier today, which was a mistake. But here's End Scene:



Objectives were area hack/targets/devices, the spawns were awful in wave 6 so I couldn't switch and I had one missile going into waves 7-10, and of course loldevices. Terrible game, terrible objectives. But I don't think I can bring myself to redo this one on the basis of time alone.

I also had a ~25 minute run disconnect during extraction and another faster run end in wave 10 because of a Combat Drone. Here's a failure video for the second one.

I'll upload the video tomorrow when I'm done raging.

Quicker than my 10 WS version but I could only get 3 WS on this one. I almost lost the will to continue when I got downed on wave 5 but I just carrierd on.
My previous attempt ended at 26:59 when I got downed on wave 10 with only 3 enemies to go (the brutes ganged on me, staggered me, allowing a marauder to gun me down.) Since I didn't get 5 grabs or 3 killstreaks, that run wouldn't have satisfied the medal requirements and I just bled out. I even had 3 ops left. 

Objectives: Targets > Targets > Pizza
I had no missiles going into wave 10 because I just wanted to get it over with.
It's a very mediocre gameplay, but atleast faster than my other run. (not sure if I'll upload the video, unless you are particular about it Pres:P)

Had 10 WS for Awakening The Eye Of Wrath, but got sync-killed by a Phantom 40 seconds before extraction at 29 minutes. I usually rely completely on Ops Packs when Phantoms are about to sync-kill me, but this time I activated it half a second too early. While watching the replay I realized that I could have saved me by detonating Barrier. >.<

Very Impressive. You have the current sweep over N4 and N5! Especially well done hitting 27 mins while managing the 5 medals - I've run into that problem with incendiary before (Things you don't really think of unless you need to get 5 personal gold medals)! I'll check out those vids later today
