Dragoons? Nothing compared to Primes and their scumbag Drones. There is no "safe distance" from Primes, they snipe you from the other side of the map through the tiniest gap imaginable, in the exact moment you get in their line of sight. They work together and always try to flank you from different sides, unlike Dragoons who just rush you in a straight line.

Their Drones have Hunter Mode and start shooting at you before you even pop out of cover. You don't even have to dodge Dragoon whips, you can simply sidestep them. You can't dodge Combat Drones however, and they usually come in pairs. Kill one and the next one is spawned right afterwards.

Dragoons die quickly and are extremely helpful to deplete the spawn budget quickly. They also have a maximum per wave limit on Gold (6), so if you deal with them at the start of the wave, the rest is free of Dragoons. Primes however keep respawning until the wave budget is empty, and they take a lot of time to kill.

Also, you can't use Ops Packs while staggered. In fact, you can't do anything while staggered.

N6 Pt. II - Next of Kin

I should be happy about this but I sort of feel like I need to go sit in a corner and stare at a wall because while my gameplay was decent considering I am the most derp drell, MSI Afterburner is out to sabotage me and I only got the last seven minutes of the game recorded. I'll still upload that, however.



Objectives were area hack(cheese)/objects/objects, an extremely lucky draw. The video will contain last part of wave 8 (I think) plus 9, 10, and extraction. I got a recon mine killstreak in wave 4, then missile spammed in wave 8 to get the next two.

Thats still an amazing time! I love watching all the vids for these challenges (there are so many great players taking part), but I must confess that I tend to skip to wave 6 on since thats where i tend to run into poblems. You just saved me the trouble of fast forwarding!

I'm thinking those later challenges will be a step too far for me, but I'll still try... If I succeed be ready for another 100 min masterpiece (cough). I'll just pretend I'm Tolstoy

Thanks! And having completed more than a few lengthy masterpieces myself, it should be said that some solos require a more refined, elegant approach and must be crafted with great care.

Actually as far as solo videos go, tbh I typically don't watch the entire thing either, just enough to get a feel for it... usually wave 1, the objectives, and bits of certain waves with interesting spawns to see how it's handled, and anything that's bookmarked by the uploader.

I did servant of the people 10 days ago or so, but i wanted to post the whole N4 at once. After several fails on Morning War and Annihilation, i did both today first try I'm very happy with that.

Quite a smooth run with 10WS, although I had two longass pizza deliveries on wave 3 and a longass escort on wave 6, but what else can you expect on FB Rio? LZ hack is worse by far, since you cannot cheese it.

I also got a 10 WS run that is one minute slower. Not sure yet which one I'm gonna upload. Maybe I'll even try to beat DHKanys time before the video comes, but he set the bar pretty high.

So, that should make me N7. If I calculated correctly, my total time is somewhere barely below 10 hours. Still, I'm not done yet, there are a couple of solos I'd like to redo before I upload the video.

Thanks! No, I don't think so. Once I've uploaded the remaining solos I'm probably gonna retire from playing this game hardcore/soloing. Actually should've done that months ago lol. I'll still be available for the duos though.
