The valkyrie is a lot more inaccurate than what I thought it should be. I only used the gun once before this solo.

I just did a run with the infrared scope. it felt like a completely different gun and I used AR eq instead of geth scanner.. I got 5 waves survived and then lost everything on wave 8 with phantoms. I tried CS spamming them without luck. I had armor piercing instead of disruptor rounds. Costly mistake. Otherwise, I think I have found a solid setup that works for me.

@MaxShine: Thanks! I've got quite a few interesting ideas (I think) for future weeks and in general just enjoy coming up with these. It's also fun to see you guys destroy these with sub 30 times. Great job on that run. I definitely think people would be interested in seeing the vid, esp. considering it's the current quickest run! I agree too, I've really started to like the valkyrie and pure headshots with this character.

@Hendrix: That build definitely seems like the most damage output possible. I'm not sure if I'd be able to pull it off with that much less health though. (I'm sure others are in this situation.) We'll see, I may have to come up with a balance similar to Max's. You're prob right though, that build and luck on ops is key to the quickest time.

The gun is actually really accurate. The recoil and crosshairs just made it feel worse to me. I did well most the match, but I got 180 magnet grabbed by an atlas.

Disruptor rounds definitely made things easier for me. They were stripping phantom barriers faster than warp rounds for me. I'm going to resort  to grenade spamming probably since there's so many grenades on the map, but it hurts to play like that.

Yeah that was quite the reach to sync-kill you. Good quick run though otherwise. Interesting build too, we haven't seen that yet.

Three attempts died on wave 9 twice. Got to extraction with five medi-gel left and was instakilled because the A button wants to make me take cover instead of dodge or run after the enemies came from three different hallways because of different spawns.

I might just give up, but there's still a couple more days.

Ahh that's rough man. So close too. That A button. I took a few days off myself. Might give it another shot to improve my time Monday. It's def a tougher challenge and it shows with the drop in number of completions. It'll still remain open anyway, like the other challenges, after the week is up so people can keep trying.

Alright, I'm done. I decided to slow it down a bit and play within myself.. had too many failures due to sloppy mistakes and trying to push my luck. I stopped caring about bad objectives too and decided to just go with whatever I got. Ended up with 2 Hacks and Wave 10 Devices and a 34:14 time. The Hacks were welcome, devices were not obviously.

*edit* I should have the video uploaded tomorrow if the rendering doesn't fail.

I got instakilled on wave 7 at 18 minutes with six rockets. That might've been a decent time.

Buuuuut I beat it the next time. I couldn't control the spawns at all for some reason. I had enemies literally spawning back to back and back again within melee range. I don't know what was going on. Not even posting my time because it's not speshul enough. It was definitely my worst run even though I completed it.

Yes, this is something I always found a bit annoying on FBW... You can kill an enemy and before his body hits the floor he respawns behind you and starts shooting again... WTF?! Only in the old farming room you are relatively save from that... on the other hand if you already expect a troll respawn you can kill stuff a bit faster, but sometimes they still can catch you off guard...

Nice! Looking forward to the vid. Devices wave 10 is pretty brutal, still a solid time considering! 

@landylan: congrats on completing it! You sure you don't want to upload a screenshot or anything ? your time? (I forgot you can't take a screenshot.) I won't be able to add you to the completionist board (not that it's a huge deal) without your time. Just considering the effort, I feel you should be on there.  I added my run anyway and It's slower than a volus shuriken platinum run!

Edit: Actually, I can make an exception and just asterix it.
