This is another redo, N2. Pt. I - Resolve of the Shadow Broker.



I thought I could go sub-25 on this. Unfortunately, the wave 10 objective got a bit ugly because of an atlas, of all things, and that easily wasted several crucial seconds.

I'll upload the video at a later point.

Back with a terrible time for the 'This Hurts You' hardcore challenge. At least I got the 10 waves survived medal, which is always nice against Collectors.

Objectives: Escort, Targets, Escort

Improved my time by 10 mins. I didn't bother about 10 WS and so, the run went pretty quickly. Also, RNG gave me only good objectives - targets > cheesable hack > escort.

Here is my week 4 (hardcore) entry:



41:21 - ComradeShepard7 (272 500 pts) [v]

Objectives were targets/objects/escort. I had a serious case of troll-drone during the escort at about 34:20 (this link goes to it) that almost got me sync-killed and turned the wave into a complete mess. I am not at all happy with my time for this one so its likely I'll redo it at some point. I think I was just being way too cautious after my clumsy, failed first attempt.

Here is the failure from the first attempt:

I ended up getting taken down with no medigel left (I wasted pretty much all of my consumables during that attempt and it didn't help that I had gotten two targets objectives) and only a sliver of the wave 10 center hack progress left.

Morning HoF update

Nicely done kaxas with the 10WS, that's a challenge I for some reason have trouble with (ie I'm a scrub).
@bgsam: 10 min shaved! I have a feeling you can hit the 10hr club, not going for the 10WS. #challenge?
@Comrade: Nicely done. I'm surprised that dirty London center hack was not a rage quit!
@ReaperRed: I believe in you! Sub-25-it! Better yet, sub-20!

Okay, got sub-25 with the asari adept for N2 Pt. I, just barely. I'm actually very surprised I did, considering I had a messy wave 10 area hack and had to waste my clean up missile.

I agree, apparently 3 broken bones in your mouse hand wasn't enough of a nerf. You really do deserve that cigar in your avatar on this one. Very nicely done.

My gameplay actually seems to have improved since I broke it.  

My advice to new players : break your mouse hand.

Also trying to go sub-25 on Chooser of the Slain. I was so close... the three seconds that pushed it over are basically a Marauder's fault. Marauder Shields pls

I don't rage quit because of the objective even if its devices. Now, I won't waste a bunch of consumables on a bad objective in wave 3 or 6 but I'll at least give them a shot.

@ReaperRed: Congrats! Second quickest time for that run. That's quite impressive. You can definitely do sub 25! [I'm hoping that after a week of not playing I will have improved gameplay, much like your broken hand is now making sub25 possible on all runs ]

Hey, just completing the challenge is an achievement in itself and I'm sure a lot of players would struggle just to get it done. Of course, it would be a better achievement if I could do it quickly, but whatever.

wave 10 devices I think it's the first time I've managed to complete them against Cerberus.

I got downed with 0:00 on the clock while at extraction for week 13 yesterday

Here's my submission for week 5 (hardcore):



31:11 - ComradeShepard7 (296 940 pts) [v]

Objectives were escort/targets/objects. I may go for a faster time in the future but I am quite pleased with getting ten waves survived with this one.

The best moment of the solo was probably when I got a pyro explosion / tech burst / headshot killstreak during wave 8 at about 19:17 (link goes to it).

No failure video for thisone since they were all just rage quits when I was deciding on what setup to use.

^ Nice job getting er done! It's all about feeling the burn on those pull-ups lol. I think that is one of the more difficult solos in this series. I think Pizza on that map is horrible (more so on console, I guess).

Also, thanks for the formatting. You basically got it, aside from a dash I added after your time.
