my xbox has begun having the occassional framerate drops while soloing.  With the age of the hardware, I am not surprised.  It is really strange to have teh screen lag sometimes when I am the only one in the game.

Also, tried the Ash challenge yesterday twice.  Died on wave 5 both times.  I hate Cerberus.  At least I figured out that I like the Mantis more than the mattock for that challenge.

I was trying it without AR, and using the power build with the mattock for that. Kept dying on wave 5 and. Im not liking that it is only restricted to the female (although i understand story wise) because i dont want to respec her out of that build lol. For something like cerebus, AR is almost needed, dat shield boost and DR comes in super handy!

I had a goo run yesterday. I did those runs in succession without failing which made me happy. As i noted though, the ash challenge quickly took the wind out of my sails.

Hold the Line (redo)
Tried to get closer to/beat Haxn's time but he set the bar pretty high. Came close but not close enough. Had very favorable objectives as well. But I got 7 FPS on average. A better FPS 'may' have resulted in a few seconds faster but I have to be content with my dying laptop.

I made the mistake of doing this right after I'd finished the volus run. I'd seriously ran out of steam...

N7. Pt. III Ariake



I couldn't record the solo with the bowling ball,  unfortunately. Once I got up around the 50 minute mark the game became unplayable and eventually just froze. That happened twice, and the third time I attempted it I didn't risk recording and sure enough, there weren't any problems.

I'll post the Human Engineer video and the others later.

 Antiphase- This was much harder than I thought due to the medal requirements, plus 25 melee kills:sick:.  Got 75 shoutgun kills during extraction and missed it once due to only 2 killstreaks!!

This solo was basically me running around in circles spamming grenades non-stop for 30 minutes. It definitely gets my vote for the most tedious challenge in this series (after Ariake).

Kill Them.  Had a horrendous wave 10 devices that took 4:30 minutes to finish.  That should get me to N5 with 4 challenges left.  Of course they all should be nice and miserable.

Got the 8 Waves survived medal! (good thing I took Responder Loadout)- Objectives took sooo much time, finished all of them with like 1 minute left.

Shaved ~9 mins. I felt incendiary was better than warp ammo. Also no-MM build.

Objectives: Escort > Escort > Targets
Will upload video later in the day.
The second target, a Brute kept going under the map while jumping over ledges making it an annoyance to snipe. Brute pls.

I felt as though I was the punchline of a joke - how many abominations does it take to solo gold! But this is my first successful Goddess solo, so I'm pleased about that.

I also did chooser of the slain successfully, but found I was down on the gold medal count <curses> thanks to incendiary ammo stealing my shotgun kills, and the discple's general crappyness for headshots. And it was more typical of my normal times (~1 hr!) <grrr>
