It was as bad as you can imagine by the time.  I literally ran away from every phantom and picked off mooks every wave after six.  On wave seven I must have killed 95% of an Atlas 12 times and the engineers would swoop in all stealth and repair it.  I also kept 5 rockets for Wave 10 in case I got targets because I didn't want to have to try it again. Got hack so I used all my rockets for clean up on single Phantoms, it was glorious.

I can imagine.  That must have been horrendous.  I am hoping to get this one done soon as I don't think my sanity will allow me to have too many more attempts.

Done in my fifth attempt. Had a lot of respect of this challenge. I´m glad ist over

Need to get my Venom and Scorpion on X first. Got both only on VII. ^^

Believe me, there were times in the solo when I wanted to go and friggin melee something cause I get so frustrated at how little damage that gun does. It was funny right when I got back onto ME 3 later that day I took my Krotinel who I named Krogamania and just chucked the lift grenades out of frustration. My friends that I was playing with, we managed to get a non-missile killstreak on plat with just flamer and lift grenades. It was awesome and satisfying.

@kocka: I'm jealous you got that one done too. What do you think, hardest one in the series? Also, Rank up! I really need to catch up to you and heroic.. I'm starting to look extra scrubby.
@Krauser: Nicely done. I found it pretty tough to go much quicker on Cyone. It's more of a test of stamina with a relatively easy character
@AW_FC: Nice job on that. Many people have avoided that challenge because of the kit and enemy combo. Can you say shank!

Probably because of Cerberus, but Pull-ups was hard for me too due to the revenant.

This one gave me headache, because I'm obviously pretty bad with one-shot-weapons. Objectives were cheesehack/targets/trollescort. I could easily shave off 1 or 2 minutes, but I don't feel like dancing with 4 phantoms at the same time right now.
As one of the worst snipers in the galaxy, I'm really looking forward to the next one......

Carried both guns of course. Hack, pizza, targets (Atlases). I caught a nice moment when the game showed AIU extractions.

Well after several tries and failing, I finally got a successful run. Wave 10 the end of it almost resulted in the same way as my wave 10 disaster on my plat solo a while back. I at least managed to get it done. Objectives were targets on wave 3 then a double escort on six and ten. Managed to nuke a spawn on the first target to get it to change. I was happy. This was the last N1 challenge that I needed.

Damn, two gold solos in one day, maybe I'm not uber-srubby after all (for the record, I'm the worst, slowest soloist ever). Cyone Must Not Fall done. Ninja abominations everywhere. Pizza, pizza, devices on wave 10, I almost gave up for a moment



Will do the Paladin one once I get my my Sentinel back to lvl 20.

@Scott, I would have killed to have your objectives on that challenge. I had triple escorts which all took me into the dark gaping heart of the enemy spawn on that challenge.

Whoever made up the Paladin challenge, oh you...

The problem with soloing the Rippas is the stupid alternating pattern that Banshees adopt when there's two of them - one is walking, one's chasing you and switch and rinse repeat. Really annoying. Unless you've got enough firepower or skill (the former in my case) to take down that Banshee within those precious seconds the other one's not bothering you, they're gonna keep regenerating barriers... Well, I can do that with a Piranha GI, but then anybody can. Paladin is great for the team, but he's not a soloist. Not to mention my opinion of the Crusader...

Why oh why couldn't I have gotten a hack on wave 10? I was one missile short for targets and not only did the last Banshee keep walking into the largest group of enemies, the other one was right behind me. Eh, give me Phantoms any day...

Will try again tomorrow.

That one took me several tries too. I kept getting ninja grabbed. I have found that either a cyclonic or an adrenaline module works wonders on him. I ran an AM III on my successful run. The only wave where I had that alternating problem with the Banshees was on wave 9 but I like fighting Reapers so I'm used to it. It also occurs a lot in Zombies. I do agree on how frustrating it can be sometimes. One thing I know for sure that can stop a banshee dead in her tracks with him is when she still has some barriers up, snap freeze, then ED when your recharge is done. The cryo explosion and a couple crusader shots do wonders. Also try batting away warp bolts with the shield if you ever get the opportunity. Saved my butt more than a dozen times over. Good luck with that challenge.

Four in fitness and he's got 1050 shields, plus ED regens his shields from Marauders and Banshees. Survivability is not a problem. It's the lack of firepower.

Or maybe I just can't work with this kit. Sentinels are not my cup of tea. I do better with Infiltrators and Soldiers. You know, classes that can make the most of a gun like the Crusader (I personally don't like it much, but it IS powerful, objectively speaking). I like to think I'm a decent player, but I have no delusions of grandeur.

I'm not giving up though. Manage rockets better and I will get it done, even if the time will be terribad.

EDIT: *facepalm* Or I could have just used phasic ammo. Banshee problem solved. Lol.

@Scott: You do know that the Paladin's snap freeze is bugged, right? Cryo explosions involving snap freeze do double damage than normal. One such OP cryo explosion plus a couple of crusader shots will stop a banshee right in her tracks.

As far as ammo is concerned, use warp (much better than phasics vs. reapers) or use incendiary and cheese it with incinerate. If you use incendiary ammo, brutes and ravagers die ridiculously fast and you can farm them to whittle down the wave budget.
