And on that note: N6(2) Next of Kin. Kolyat made it through, but not before a fair bit of swearing at (you guessed it) devices. This time I still got Devices, but only on wave 3 and none of them were in the main courtyard, thank goodness (other two were escort and pizza). Not the quickest time, but 5WS with a drell is a bear!

There is definitely a stubborness to it! I failed 183 Pull-ups this evening at wave 6 and now have a "Rio devices will not defeat me again" attitude for the next time I attempt

Gave Widow's Poison a go yesterday. I had some very funny ends on wave 1 and 2 where I ran out of ammo, didn't want to use thermals and just meleed the remaining enemies to death. It was hilarious to see Nemesis try to run away from the kicking flurry that is the drell. I failed on wave 9 cause I had no gels at that point and I got distracted by a phone call. I'll give it another go later.

Edit: We have made some changes to Desio's Delta Squad team challenges. 

 

I will eventually add a banner to the OP to access this mini series. I don't want to overload bsn with challenges, but since we also don't have any full team challenges at the moment, it could be a fun option for something different (and the series will remain open so no need to get them done right away either). Feel free to post your submissions in this thread. Calling on new teams to strut your stuff!

Gave Widow's Poison a try. Well, actually it was only a test run, but oh Jesus, the hilarity of this solo...

It was my first proper solo after at least a couple of weeks and my aim was just awful since I'm used to a much lower sensitivity from CS. Also, I completely forgot this game had rockets until the end of wave 9. Rocketed the last two Atlases and used the remaining five for w10 cleanup (rocketing single engineers ftw). The best part however: At the end of wave 4 I was afk for 2 mintues because I forgot that my Pizza was still in the oven. There were still 8 enemies on the field and I fully expected the "mission failed" screen when I got back, but my Drell was still hiding in the same spot in the LZ, not giving a crap at all. lolcenturions, lolnemeses, lolengineers.

Anyway time was 23:22 with EPE. Somehow this game decided to give me good objectives on my test run, sigh. Let's see what I get when I give it a serious try...
