@Pres: Are survivor loadout, responder loadout, stronghold package allowed? What about shield regen boosting gear like shield power cells?
Hmm I can make it so that just cyclonics are not permitted, to give people a fighting chance... yup edited OP. I think that makes it a little more fair.
Before trying any, I'll say that I particularly like these:
σ2 – Blue Rose of Illium
σ3 – Geth Hopper (Gotta love the melee GI)
σ4 – Bleed Out
σ9 – This Isn’t Where I Parked my Mako ('cuz Salarian Engineer+Scorpion)
σ10 – Baltasar ('cuz Venom. Doing it under 30 mins without missiles will be a pain though)

Time trial runs may need to be adjusted, given the missile restriction to objectives and extraction only. I used my judgment on what I thought would be difficult but obtainable, but we'll see!

Hmmm, this is interesting. Instead of just making it Platinum, you adjusted Gear & Missile restrictions to make the solos harder. I like it

Exactly and Missiles only on objectives and extraction.

It was fun, although I committed way too many mistakes (3 gels lost on wave 1, lol). I'll probably redo later. Objectives were Targets-Escort-Targets.
I know I said I probably wouldn't do any of these, but I am interested in a couple of the new ones. Definitely not going to do all of them, but I will likely make a couple of slow submissions.

Christ, the only ones I might give a shot are the Shadow and the Salarian Engy ones. All the other ones are way out of my league. 
So, I was doing the shaman challenge and everything was fine until wave 9. As soon as w9 starts, I instinctively nuke a spawn and get a killstreak. I carried on with it and only on w10, I realized that missiles were allowed only on objective waves...lol...

@Kirrahe: You can do it! These are meant to be really tough with a steep learning curve. I'm sure you can do it though!

No, it's not allowed. My bad.
It can't be an outlier challenge with no cyclonics and no geth scanner but with incediary or warp ammo glitch allowed. So, it's gotta be a no, not allowed for the outlier series.
Really great new challenge ideas, they look really hard, a bit too hard for my taste, mainly because my Cyclonic crutch is banned 
.
I might try Kai Leng Reloaded though, but definitely with Responder or Survival Loadout.
