Also congrats to bgsam and AW_FC for making headway in the Outlier series and being the first to complete many challenges! Also kudos to KB for pulling the quickest time for Heat (and I'm sure your ps3 was on fire after that one!).

bgsam your solo output is insane! I'm truly impressed.

 

Seeing all these awesome redos made me realize that I haven't completed my sub 10 hours goal for the N7 series yet, so I took a little break from CS and redid "Hold The Line":

Objectives were PPE if I remember correctly. I'm very close to sub 10 now, the next redo should do it. However, getting literally one pair of good objectives over the last three days pretty much burnt me out and I don't know when I'm going to feel like playing this game again. This game always goes maximum troll mode when I come back from a break...

 

I also attempted the Vorcha Hunter and the Demolisher challenge from the Outlier solo series. Made me remember how much I love the Hunter and the Kishock, and how much I absoltuely DESPISE Geth Primes, especially on this map. No matter how small the gap is, Primes will hit you through it (from the other side of the map). >.<

 

The Demolisher challenge on the other hand is actually quite easy...if you don't get screwed by objectives, which is pretty much always the case. No pizza running and hack glitching really makes London a tough map. IMO those glitches should've been banned from the beginning of this thread (yeah I know I supported hack glitching back then, and I also won't stop doing it for the other challenges as long as it's allowed because yolo).

I'd like to thank everyone who makes this thread fun (and lacking in e-peen, which is amazing for a HOF solo thread), especially Pres for coming up with an inexhaustible supply of solo challenges (unless you're Bgsam) and enthusiasm. I would also like to thank eveyrone who posted their videos, because frankly I would not have got very far without the ability to copy the tactics of others

 

I'm not sure I'm ready for no-cyclonic solos just yet, but I'll probably take a stab at the old weekly challenges.

I don't really want to go for anything on this challenges so i'll probably keep slapping on low-level equipment and take my time enjoying some relaxing solo stuff with characters i barely use. (well frankly I only pug with HFI\DA so, uh, ye) Although it was pretty annoying when banshee teleported from idk where grabbed me and let that killwh*ring ravager shoot me into oblivion ruining my pretty gold ws medal during wave 10 escort. duh.

I'll get there. If I don't get to N7, HeroicMass will never forgive me.

 

If anything, these outlier solos are making me want to do the N7 ones. I found a plat solo "easy" (until a banshee grabbed me out of nowhere) after a few failed attempts at the Deception of Menae.

 

Also KB. Very Nice! Yeah, I'm pretty sure that's sub 20 with pstree's loading times.

Just attempted Brood challenge. It was a lot of fun despite being tough. Collectors, grenade spam, a grenade friendly map, a tanky krogan...i love it! Although I rage quit on w10 devices, lol. Ain't nobody got time for that BS.
