I just truly believe that wallhax should be a Geth thing only, and since everyone is using geth scanner on every class these days when soloing I would be so bold as to claim that it is a very broken gear. It leaves nothing to the imagination and there is no longer any skill involved when playing different classes, because all you can do is put geth scanner on and you don't have to play to a certain characters strengths and weaknesses.

Use geth scanner, put bubble out, stand around the corner and spam Acolyte and reave at everything that gets close. Don't even have to worry about getting flanked since you can see through walls anyway. It is just my opinion that it would destroy the "theme" in the themed challenge.

I will probably do a solo and upload later on, good initiative with these challenges!

I agree with you that it would take away from the theme if everyone started using it. I'm hoping that people submit different equipment set-ups. I think I'll leave it as is for this one and change the rules in the future if it gets to be rampant. 

My other view on it though, is that these will be really tough for a lot of players out there. If geth scanner helps give people who are new to soloing a chance at full extraction, then that's fine with me

Just as long as you never create a themed challenge using the Kroguard Reegar against Geth. Anything else I can live with because as you say, not everyone will have 100% success rate for this. I hope that people who are good enough at soloing have at least some dignity in them thus declining to use crutch gear and such

 Goddess Reapers isn't super hard.  If I get an awful time, I probably won't bother uploading a video because it will take 10 hrs.

I was doing this setup a week ago, got disconnected on both attempts I was doing, first one was on wave 8 at like 22 minutes, the other one was one wave 7 at 19 I think. They had both been very smooth runs, goddamn internet of mine.

I was only using the Disciple though, screw the acolyte.

Maybe I'll do it again if no one else posts one with a decent time for the setup (would be hard to go sub 25 with just the Disciple, sub 30 is reasonable though).

Actually, prolly won't bother, my internet is still wonky.

Time zone bump

I gave it a shot tonight but had a brutal wave with cell phone and house phone ringing, dog barking at the same time and called it quits. I'll have to fight for Thessia tomorrow!

I gave it a try, though I'm a scrub... wiped on wave 7. I wish my pitiful Disciple II packed a little more punch... I'll try it again this weekend, I hope.

I hear you. Having only the disciple II will make a pretty big difference. What equipment did you use?

Hmm, I recently finished all my challenges, so this may provide another carrot at the end of the stick for me. I never got that into soloing (yes I did Giant/Geth/Kroguard w/Reegar for my lone wolf). But perhaps this will give me another challenge and make me feel less guilty about my lone wolf banner. I'll give it a crack this weekend.

Welcome! I've recently had a lot of fun getting into solos. I have a ton of ideas for new ones too and have every intention of keeping these going weekly if there is interest. They can be challenging and frustrating, but also quite rewarding when you accomplish them and have somewhere to post the results. I'll also make sure to vary the difficulty so they're not all out of reach or too "crutch".

3 wipes atm.
At one point got killed by Banshee DOTs 3 times in a row thanks to brute double teams.
I hate asari. Been trying power and BE builds after I noticed that my soldier build could not do enough dmg with a disciple. Powers nor BEs just don't do enough DMG and I end up running out of OPS packs which basicly means I'm going to die and the run will fail.

Way out of my comfort zone. Will try again when I get enough consumables and equipment again. Need to figure out a Hybrid build aswell.

I noticed I went through OPS packs quickly too. I ended up letting myself die out in wave 7. I specced mine for biotic sphere and reave and all power amps. I found it went pretty smoothly, until all hell broke loose in wave 7 (where it starts to matter). I will try again tonight too (only have two shotgun III amps, so two attempts )

@MasterReefa: Sounds good! Looking forward to the possible vid. I wonder how quick this challenge can be done.

I got about no equipment that actually matters, and am out of respec cards.

I'm not too sure how to build it all. I know I can acolyte/ BE it but the amount of shields I'd need is insane. I just get hit too much if I go too close. Disciple does jack squat to armor unless I go AP ammo. Then I need to somehow keep aoe pull and a fast reave and the warp bubble.

This is annoying.
Screw it I'm making a 65555 build or something! Need to have everything.
