It was...weird getting very good objectives. Good thing I didn't ragequit when I died to the last Captain on wave 1 or when I had to kite the second wave 3 pizza just 2m from extraction.

I have 5 done now, I think. Waiting to post as the times are all very scrubby. I may post them just to have them completed but not sure yet. I currently have 1,2,4,5 and 9 done. I dont know if I will be able to do the geth melee one, especially within the time limit and no rockets.

You're allowed missiles on the geth melee run, just objective waves. I can modify the times if it seems really tough other than to knockingbrain, hendrix and slasher..

Got my first run on Baltasar. But it took me 35:15 min. Had devices on wave 6, which took me over 3 Minutes. Otherwise I die as hell, when I try to speedrun.

I hate time trial. ^^

Well, I was waiting for feedback about that challenge. I was thinking it might have to be changed to about 35 mins, realistically.

- Nicely done LosingYouToYou and squad! That is not an easy challenge.

- Also, ex-Clusum, officially makes the sub-20 exclusive list for this thread! Well done. Sub 19 still has not been achieved!

 

Edit#2: Time trials adjusted to 37 mins for Geth Hopper and 35 mins for Baltasar. And that's the last time!

That´s sounds reasonable. Maybe you should go on 37 minutes. At least one device is going to cost a lot of time. Especial when they are in open space. This usually calls for grinding and a lot of wasted consumables.

Yeah.. I feel 35 is reasonable though given the weapon and the map, especially considering Heat is 40 45 mins on a much larger map. Meh, I'm fine with 37 too, I guess.

I feel Baltasar is doable in under 32 mins but would need quite some grinding for sure. The last time I tried it, I got brute slammed 26 mins into the game, somewhere in the middle of wave 9. I got targets and escort on waves 3 and 6 IIRC. That could've been sub-32 provided I didn't get loldevices for w10. I never got back to redoing it since I hate volus and reapers. Might redo it because venom.

 

35 mins or 37 mins seems a much better choice! 

 

While heat is on a larger map, it is easier to clock quicker times (sub-40ish) on that challenge because collectors are usually faster to solo (except for w8, every other big budget wave - 5,7,9 has plenty of abombs to farm). Also, DI has access to an amazing CC power in recon mine. And cloaked spitfire is really awesome vs. crabs.

That's cool. I put it to sub 37, like Geth Hopper. I think that is a good time frame and will hopefully be less grindy.

I spent too much time on waves 8 and 9.
Had escort, devices and Pizza. Escort and Pizza went quick. But devices... First three weren't a big problem. The last one was in the middle. Took 2 missles to clear the area.

Barely got sub-37. This was slower than my previous tries...I couldn't find ravagers quickly enough on waves 7 and 8 and it slowed me down. 

Targets > escort > targets (I'd have preferred pizza or escort on w10..killing the brute in a group of 3 is so painful, brutes pls)

 

May redo for a better time...

 

Also, this was a duo. The swarm was such a worthy partner...the number of ravagers and brutes it took care of after I weakened them and the number of ravager and brutes it weakened for me was pretty high!

^ That? Damn, I have been trying to hold the dead center, a bit more further ahead (right next to the mako :/) than shown in the picture, where there is no cover whatsoever. This position looks a bit more easier to hold...Need to try tonight!

Basically those intersecting cement beams. So you can get cover from those.

Just tried Blue Rose of Illium for the first time and wiped on Wave 10 devices.

I'm gonna call it the Swarmer challenge.
