As well as your prescription of crazy meds. I should prob put an asterisk on it since the macro was used... but yeah you just solo'd Week 5 Legendary... and you'd probably get carpal tunnel.  
 
(Edit: I think I will asterisk it actually, as the Predator does more damage that the Carnifex if modded to full auto... and cause I don't want to set a bad precedent and have modding creep into in these challenges... sorry if that makes me look like a villain.)

Predator has a higher DPS than the Carnifex.  A macro would definitely expand upon that point.

I definitely won't be legalizing macros for that challenge. Consolers don't have any macros to mod. Most importantly, the spirit of the thread has always been difficult and sometimes legendarily difficult challenges without mods.

Cyonans DPS is based on having your predator firing at max rof which is 8.3 rounds per second which is almost a triple of what I have. Max DPS you'll be able to squish out with my macro is 220 which is significantly less than what carnifex can provide without use of any macros. Needless to say that 3 shots per second is easily sustainable without a macro, just not for an hour+ long. And I'll have to run for ammo boxes much more often with a predator than a carnifex. So far I see nothing legendary about not using a macro on this challenge except the proof that u have fingers of steel.

Console players have access to turbo controllers, btw.

You can watch the video and see that you are churning out about 7 rounds/second.  Much faster than a human hand could sustain.  For a good example, you can see at 11:09-11:12 you burn through 21 rounds.  I watched a few other areas and that was pretty consistent across the board.  

 

I don't want to cause problems in this thread because of how wonderful it is, but you did change the capabilities of your weapon for the challenge.  I would move to have it not included in the hall of records, but this is a conversation that can be done over PMs and not in this thread.

Haestrom (Thermonuclear) - Legendary

Took me 7 or 8 tries from the first time I attempted this a couple of days back. But I still wanted to do this because I am stubborn by nature and simply couldn't let Geth get the better of me. Same goes for the person who designed the Geth - I win this time mister.

Objectives: Targets > Hack > Devices (better objectives could've made me achieve sub-50, especially because I had to waste 2 missiles on w3, and devices were well, trolly)

Didn't extract because the drone stunlock prevented me from moving swiftly towards the end.

Very nice bgsam. I actually recently re-tried that challenge without success and also remember how much I hate geth on platinum. :s Any Geth Plat solo is an impressive feat. I'll add it shortly.

 

- @ex-Clusum, heroic: I agree there are other variables at play here and I too don't really want to argue about it. Suffice it to say, I'd like the Legendary and Epic runs to be natural runs (without any modding at all.) I don't like the fact that I've recently added a couple to the HoF that have had different guns or slight modifications. However, I recognize that your solo is still a very impressive feat and one that most would not be able to do even with a macro mod. Like I mentioned, I'm going to add it to the HoL, with asterisks and the legend below explaining. Hopefully that's a reasonable move. I do hope to see more of your stuff and more Legendary runs all around in the future, without any mods

Well, I did Enhanced Defence Intelligence the other day.

Utterly shameful, IMO.  I will say, in my defense, that I was doing this at 4am because I couldn't sleep, and it is the first Gold solo I've done in quite a while.

 

But still.  No three waves survived medal, took an hour and I went down in the first round to a Centurion.  Bah.  Maybe I shoulda gone with a cyclonic instead of adrenaline.  I also completely missed the 20 Headshot Medal popping up, which is why I occasionally whip out the Eagle in later rounds.

 

I'll probably do CDEM tomorrow sometime, and Cyone Must Not Fall next week, no idea on when they'll get uploaded though.

Wave 8 and 9 is pretty rough with no missiles. I also made the mistake of using my last missile on a second target in wave 10 instead of clean-up.. literally cost me 5 mins at least. Oh well, I don't think I want to redo it any time soon. Onto another!
