Finally managed to pull my hands outta my ass for long enough to finish this

 

90% of the game spent running in terror. 1% spent on throwing grenades. 1% is shooting. 8% spent on running to ammo boxes for moar nades.

No grenade capacity bcoz AC5 all day erriday. Skipped waves 8,9,10 with rockets, totally worth losing 5 grenades.

That was horrible . My time really indicates that. Always got hit by homing Banshee warps. Went to ragemisslemode at wave 10, because I failed at pizzarunning. Besides, the enemy decided to camp at the LZ.

 

Better I forget all of this one . 3 insanity challenges left.

The real challenge is not the avenger but the fact that you are using a volus sentinel who has terrible weapon passives and meh powers. What's worse is that you will be facing collectors, who have the two biggest bullet sponges in the game - possessed crabs and scions. What makes it even painful is that you will be on condor.

It is the second toughest challenge in the series for me.

By far the hardest I think. I would love to have completed that one.

Week 19 Insanity is up there with most difficult though for sure.

Unskilled novaguard alert. Actually I suck so bad with novaguarding that I spec'ed out of nova. Sorry. Went with FEs instead.

 

My first try I got endless devices that were always out in the rain; this was a bit better (3rd attempt, 2nd after respec.)

Week 8 Shepherd Clone's war II

39:46 - dafyddr (300,502 pts) Escort-device-escort. All in the rain . First escort was a real PITA because of a spawn right on top, second was perfect.

 

Sweet revenge (for Blasteroid): Week 9: Does this unit have a soul. I ended up doing this 3 times (succesfully) because my times were so crap. Stupid shaky map making me miss all the time! I simply don't understand how you guys managed to do it so fast, with the shaking and the constant pressure from abombs and bees, and the lack of clean sightlines to dominate with a sniper. But it was great fun to put those collectors in their place after the eternal stress of blasteroid. Oh, and first time I used geth scanner by accident, so didn't turn hunter mode on until half way through.

Incidentally, I gave phoenix a go (with smashless adept + harrier) and ran into problems with dragoons- is the solution to just go VG?
