Edit: Ps. Here's my build  It's very weapon focused, but it got my Viper up to 740 damage up from 400 something.

Warp Ammo IV will more than double the Viper's damage vs. Armour and Health and almost quadruple it versus Barriers (if I remember correctly Warp Ammo has a 2x multiplier vs. Barrier, plus the additive 100% bonus vs. Reaved targets (well technically 65% I believe it's something like (1 + 0.65*2))*2 which translates to ~4.6x Damage vs. Barriers  (and 2.3x vs. Armour and Health) if I have the order of operations right, Cyonan knows the formulae for definite..

Also worth noting is that the second piercing mod might be a waste of time. The enhanced scope (or w/e it's called, it's the one that gives +50 Weapon Weight) I find is quite helpful on some of the less powerful snipers allowing for easier aiming (on console) in closequarters aswell as a (subjectively) better feel to the zoom in general.

Good to know about the second piercing. I wasn't too sure when I specced it but thought it would negate some of the armor a little more. I did use warp IV ammo. Honestly, I found the viper pretty powerful with everything specced in its favor! Thanks for the stats!

With HVB V and Warp Rounds IV. You are sitting at 50*03*0.65 = 9.75 Damage Reduction from Armour. (Again Cyonan knows the definitive formulaes I may be missing something)
The Piercing Mod isn't completely worthless but given the (relatively) high Damage Per Shot of sniper rifle and the lack of any thick cover to pierce through you could drop it without suffering for another beneficial mod.

Side Note 1: Love get multiple Possessed Abomb Explosions... moreso when I'm between them...
Side Note 2: I found a similar thing Prestacious, most of the uncommon weapons are actually pretty good on weapons platform build or as a sidearm to biotic/elemental explosions (which both are possible on the Drell Adept).

Everything started so well. 20 Headshots early in the game, a couple of sweet melee kills, first 5 waves survived. However, during the wave 6 reactor hack, I only had to waste...ALL my medi-gel, ALL my ops packs, 2 rockets and 1 thermal clip pack. I'm just too stubborn to kite enemies during objectives, because I always go for time when soloing.

Ok, I tried to get a time under 30, but I somehow wasted 5 seconds too much... It was the hardcore challenge only. Objectives: Escort/Pizza/Pizza


I do not know if I am going to try this again as this challenge is pretty nerve-racking... I found a good spot for nuking (look in the direction of the LZ a bit):


everytime I did this the enemy would spawn somewhere here:

Gave the Hardcore challenge a try, got Pizzas on Wave 10, died with the second Pizza on the ladder at the LZ (bad idea).



Time wouldn't have been sub-30 with clean-up, but probably still okay.
Assuming I would've made clean-up and extraction with no medigels left...

It can??  By dodging out the front of the reactor?  This would have shaved 6 to 8 minutes off my time alone.
