I´m wondering how people find the mordus hype so fascinating. Soling with the Venom on Jade Platinum vs Reapers is

 

Wave 8 is really annoying on Jade with 3 Bosses, 2 Phantoms and 3 Marauders. Imo the Venom is not really accurate at all. It´s very difficult to hit anything on higher ground or behind cover. Nuff raging for now

^^I have to agree there, that challenge is a pain on Platinum. The normal 'Mordus' one was fun to do since it didn't have Banshees in every wave as it was against Cerberus.

Mordus' Calibrations is rough enough on Gold, I'm not even thinking about trying it on Platinum.

I don´t think I´ll retry Mordus Calibrations on Platinum again. It´s out of my reach. Mostly cause of the map Jade. Doing Pizza without Pizza run is extremly difficult. Then we got troll devices, which are annoying.

Platinum reapers suck. 

 

I'd probably put them above the other 3 factions in terms of sheer annoyance. Yes, even above Geth sometimes.

This attempt was made with AP ammo IV. Many times my first shot failed to eliminate the enemy and I began to miss my incendiary ammo so...

Not faster but I was so much more relaxed using my go-to setup that I didn't realize I had 10 waves survived until it was all over. I was actually feeling a bit smug knowing that if the first shot missed, so much damage was done the ensuing fire explosion would not only kill the enemy but stagger his buddy and set up the next shot. And no warp/incendiary was used, just overload.

 

Inspiration to try this goes to the TechnoTurian who I met as a random in one of my gold games and who once again reminded me that you do not need a maxed manifest to kick butt. Also, thanks for the matches during Veteran Week. It was a pleasure to play those games with you after watching so many of your videos.

 

I'd like to thank Prestacious for all the efforts in making this thread. Excellent presentation, great themes and getting players together after all this time. And of equal significance, making any and all players welcome.
