Then again, this is an 'alliance' mission. Falcon would be a good choice too.

 

Scorpion was in addition to the Wraith.  Falcon only would add another interesting element.

Escort, Hack, Hack.  Thought I had glitched the last hack then I finally noticed it wasn't moving.  It was a real pain.  This went slow.  Couldn't get the Atlases to play nice.  Wraith kills Atlases faster.  Vid will be up tomorrow.

Yes.  Well that and the first 6 times I got at least one set of devices, always with the crap device in the middle.  Got sync killed 5 or 6 times at least (mostly when my punch didn't stagger).

 

The turret locations are pure BS, as is the fact that they would run to the path of any escort to drop turrets in it when it would start if Wave 6.

 

Atlas spawns and pathing makes controlling them a pain.  As does the fact that the lower side of the map doesn't actually have any cover.

 

Nemesis snipes are completely out of hand.  Got doubletapped by a single Nemesis more times than I can recall that ever happening before.

Fists of fury (redo)

Since requirements changed, I redid this. 10 secs faster than the other run. My missiles were absolute derp (one was on a lone phantom, one on a lone atlas, and one just on a phantom + 2 guardians). All that smoke BS, ridiculously quick movement, and atlas' ability to tank missiles made me mess up my rockets. Stuck with wraith mainly because I can make quick work of atlases with AP ammo. It helped a lot as I farmed atlases on waves 5 and 9, leaving nemeses and phantoms alone for the most part.

How can I have played this game since launch and still cant predict Banshee synch kill BS. Been synched on 4 seperate runs with the Novaguard.

Twice I have charged into spawns with my rocket out to nuke it, directly into a sych. Once I was on the back ramps of the control room. The other was just a big derp when I charges out of a bad spot and got pulled halfway across Giant bad into a synch.

Oh yeah, Giant Hazard can die in a fire, worst in the game.

Everything about this was bad. Actually got synched TWICE during wave nine trying to setup killstreak missiles.  Got gunned down by a Marauder on the first and somehow managed to shoot a rocket during the animation the  second time.  Took Survivor Loadout and I think I used all of them.

Mission 11 - Hybrid Synergy

Hack, Hack, Escort.  Early in the day I had been trying this and kept getting devices on 6 with the crappy device right in the middle.  And I wasn't having great luck moving the Scions so they couldn't hit me without wasting too much time or too much equipment (had one run where I needed 2 missiles, a gel and an ops to get the devices).  Went out in the evening, then came back and did this run.  So besides objectives, I apparently found the key to playing Novaguard is beer.  I should have gone closer to the crates at the end so I wouldn't have been killed at 0 seconds.  I was hit by a scion right before that and since you practically can't do anything due to their bs, I was killed.

 

Mission 12 - Reap the Whirlwind

Packages, Escort, Hack.  So this was my third total attempt.  I had done one earlier as a break from other challenges and went AP ammo with EB EM, and did ok up until Wave 10 Escort where I apparently didn't dodge behind an APC in time.  After I completed Mission 11, I tried this one again and switched to HVB EM and Warp Ammo, but I didn't like that with pure weapon passive spec it didn't seem to want to fire infinitely, which I wanted to do just for ultimate Rambo mode.  And I might have been killed on 8 or 9.  So this run I switched to just AR Piercing for faster CD and infinite firing.  Not that you can really just stand in one place and fire forever for some waves. Against Banshees the HVB spec is slightly better, at least if you can't get a good RHA spot to fire at them forever.

 

I successfully glitched the Wave 10 hack.  And then when I was dodging an enemy I unglitched it.  So that made it a little tougher than it would have been.

I might go back and redo a few of the challenges.  M11 is one just because I didn't extract which annoys me a lot more today than it did last night.  Then I think M10 w/ Wraith will be my white whale challenge that I want to complete.  Also thought about redoing M3 with the melee character (which was always an option... did you wonder why the Scimitar was a weapon?).

When I got devices on wave 10, I was a bit worried but luckily all of them were far apart and were well-covered. Thankfully, the device of doom on the central crate didn't feature among the four. Also, I died on wave 2 which meant I had to survive waves 3-7 to get the 5 WS medal.

 

Anyway, this should put me on the completionist list and also fetch me all medals.

Devices are terrible on some maps.  Maybe I should have left out Hydra and Jade.
