Nah, I give up. Doesn´t make sense to continue on this map called Glacier. Never liked Glacier anyway.
RNG doesn´t help at all. When I make it to wave 3, I mostly get devices or targets.
 
Maybe it´s a good moment to retire from this game. I´m going to get mad, if I´ll continue (Almost 40 attempts today. Best ended at wave 9).

i had over 50 on merely the weapon

 

 

what s wrong with U, just limit it to 2/3 tries in a row, and yeah, take a break now 

this, the way i did week 20 legendary is by giving it 1 post wave 2 try every day, just got a successful one eventually

You don't mean that. RNG being what it is, you're bound to get a set of doable objectives sooner or later, right? Perhaps this is just one of those challenges that tests patience/persistence as much as skill. Take a break if you need it - so that you can come back fresh and nail those bastards.

After 4 attempts today, I need to say that Acolyte on Phantoms only is not enough so far. You mostly don´t know, which enemy will come around the corner due to Glacier´s small design. Phantoms are mostly covered by bosses or mocks. At last, I used the Acolyte to pass enemies, if I´m about to get overrun.

 

Glacier is ideal to surrond you by bosses. The basement is a real deathtrap in such cases. (That´s a real design problem IMO)

 

Wave 8 and 9 has been proven most difficult.

 

Wave 8 has the problem of 3 Phantoms. The keep you on your toes with the danger of running into the Prime. When pursuited by 2 Phantoms, you really don´t want to meet the Atlas as a dead end.

 

Wave 9 is annyoing through the goon sqaud. I ended mostly dead, when I got hit by a rocket trooper rocket or a banshee warp. Dragoons finished me off then.

I always got a constant loss of consumables throughout the solo.

About the build, isn't rank 5 of Incinerate better for incendiary glitching ?

 

I would also use the scanner for a little map like Glacier.

Operation Cleanup

 

Time to commemorate N7 Day in 2014! You may want to make sure you have a couple of level 20 characters for this!

 

After Shepard destroyed all the mass relays, surviving Reapers, Collectors, Geth and Cerberus have forces running wild. Without a central uniting leadership, these enemies have splintered into minor factions dominating various far reaches of space.

 

Challenge 1:

Supplies are low in the Attican Traverse; send in 4 of your best soldiers to Pragia and use the little equipment there is to protect the colonists there (Pistol Round):

Complete any enemy on any map with only pistols. No grenades, no powers, no biotics.

 

Challenge 2:

Thane has left 4 children behind on Earth. They stumble upon a Collector Hive in Vancouver. Take your all Drell team to fight the Silver Collectors in Firebase Vancouver.

 

Challenge 3:

The Geth want revenge:

A small splinter group of Geth have hit the migrant fleet. Take control of the Quarian forces to rid their fleet of this scourge. Silver game vs Geth in Firebase Reactor, using only Quarian players. Will the Quarians squash their creations, or will the Geth finally overcome their creators?

 

Challenge 4:

Thessia Revelations:

The Asari homeworld, Thessia, has been attacked by numerous Cerberus splinter groups. Take an all Asari team to fight the Gold Cerberus agents on the Asari map Firebase Goddess.

 

Challenge 5:

Some of the most powerful Reaper forces have finally reached Arvuna, the moon of Dranen. Go in and destroy them, using any units and force necessary:

Platinum Round:

Complete any enemy on Platinum on Firebase Hydra.

Depends. Overall Geth Scanner is the best gear for non HM characters. Soloing with it is also more pleasant, it reduces the level of paranoia and gives some tactical advantages (like bouncing Venom or Acolyte shots on an ennemy hiding behind a corner). But this gear lost a good part of his interest on very big maps and in some situations taking 9 medi-gels can be a better solution to get the job done at any cost. For example when you use a human / asari... character without cyclonic. Knowing that your enemies are coming is good but it doesn't mean that you will be able to stop them, notably when you fight the Dragoons squad in wave 9 of Cerberus platinum.

I think that Clusum was talking about the rank 5 of Overload (recharge speed instead of Neural Shock).
