This game is SUCH a damn troll.

I figure I'd join the fun of this "Weekly Themed Gold Solo Challenges", and load up.

Wave 5, I get this:



And then it gives me Wave 6 objective to disable 4x devices.  And device #2 is right in the middle of the open, beside the g**damn Mako.  Kiting would be great -- IF the Ravager and the 2 Marauders wouldn't actually camp there.  They were there long enough for a bonfire, songs and ghost stories.



I'm a sad panda.  And I'm sleepy.  BUT I'm gonna try again tomorrow.  Apparently, I'm a glutton for pain.

Haha ghost stories! Sometimes all you need is to rage-missile the whole campground! Devices are the worst on this map.

I decided to give the insanity challenge a try... got devices, a wave 10 center hack and wasted 2 rockets on Wave 10. Not being able to kill Banshees quickly really hurts, but I guess that is what insanity difficulty is about...

imo it's pretty manageable if you don't get troll devices

Hack circles are always gg no re though. Either you die or use amost all of your consumables.

very true.  Defintely a map where you want escorts and deliveries.

I dunno. Maybe it's just my butterfingers, since I frequently drop the pizza, but pizzas usually take me more than a minute on London. Devices COULD work if they don't spawn in stupid positions. Targets are also okay in comparison if you want to waste a rocket, but can sometimes be a waste of time if they spawn in bad places. But yeah, escorts and LZ pizzas = EzMode.

Pizza running on consoles isn't what I'd call running. It looks retarded and isn't half as effective as actually running like on PC.

Walking backward or light melee on some characters is still faster.  Asari back dodge works pretty good though.

I just want to say I have NO problem with pizza running at all, just didn't know how effective it was.  I guess I see why some speedrunners going for records would get their panties in a bunch about it, especially before AC and wanting Targets every objective.
