edit: It turns out the W4 Vorcha vid has a lot of "commentary" since I had teamspeak on with some friends at the time and forgot that its audio would be captured too... Will definitely redo it.

London sniping is fun most of the time, but i missed my mighty scanner. I should have taken it 'cause i forgot to use grenade anyway. Forgot my missiles too

Was unable to pull the first attempt with w6 devices, pffff.... I m pretty sure it bugged and gave me 5 devices !

couldnt glitch the hack despite i did it perfectly (activate inside + side hop outside).

 

But sniping phantom at long range is priceless. And the trick to start the grenade throw away from phantoms to finish on them works almost perfectly.

I am going to do Purgatory's Revenant next.  My TSol has CS now, do you think PM would make much of a difference with the Revenant?  I figure it might just come down to mainly MM spam anyway.

I think I would go with 5 in PM and 3 in CS, but skipping one of the two can make sense too. I think it depends if you plan to use AP rounds and be almost constantly under MM or spam CS for tech bursts / fire explosions.

 

I gave a quick look at the 2 recorded solos : Clusum skipped CS, Slasher skipped PM. The first used AP rounds, the second disruptor.

Yes but that would mean no damage bonus from the ammo. Not sure that's worth it, since one can't spam CS under MM.

Just to let you know I did my first one

I did try to record a video, but captured only first 2 waves and final cleanup on 10th wave, and extraction. Apparently, it seems like my laptop cant handle recording gameplay and game itself, or I dont know how to set up things in settings, or use wrong software (OBS)... Dunno, but here is a SS, I plan on completing other ones soon.

You always could if you just wanted to use Cryo.  But it isn't so great on high ROF guns anyway (freeze chance relatively low) and with no debuff or extra damage you will be way behind unless you go Piercing + EB (which is a valid setup of course).

 

If frozen targets took double damage, it would be a lot better.

Yeah, bullet damage are allready pretty low. I m curious about the math though. An clearly, cryo ammo should have had a debuf effect (5-30 %), at least on health/armor and maybe the other 2.

I would have thought high RoF gun would prime easy cause high rate of impact. Is that somewhere in the cyonan weapon sheet ?

FOr recording i m a virgin too, so... Have U checked the authorized file size and your available disk size ? Those can be pretty huge very fast.

File size shouldn't be a problem, it's about 2-3 GB for a 25-30 minute video (though I suppose that depends on various settings).

If you have a pc that can handle that kind of live compression and maintain a playable fps. More typical scenario is that you end up with a 11 gb file with a duration about 15 min that you have to manually recompress unless you're planning to upload entire 11 gb.

 

^ does not apply to obs cos it does heavy compression cos lollivestream software and leaves me with no frames

I looked at the numbers :

Cryo Tsol power amp IV : Revenant with Piercing and EB 153/147/153/153 (health/armor/barrier)

CS : 2400 (and 9600 against barrier) every 1.8 s

 

TB Tsol cyclonic IV: Revenant with HVB and mag 153 128 213 213 (so big difference against shield and Barrier)

CS 900 (3600) + TB 590 across 6 lolMEmeters (1180 vs sheld) every 2s

 

Maybe I should remove the power amp and keep a cyclo IV, but still, seems it should be tested. I guess I will

^CS with Cryo rounds is amazing for sure but no cyclonic + no staggering weapon VS Cerberus is a tough challenge.

Escort, targets, devices. Targets for gold Reapers wave 6 are Brutes and the devices were in good locations so actually objectives were pretty good. The Revenant is good to... apply ammo. Hopefully the combo Carnage + Frag is quite crazy with a power amp 4.

 

 

N2 2 is Collectors on Goddess. I absolutely don't know whether my PS3 can handle this. Well, some PS3 players have done it, so I guess it's possible.
