I know I am not that much of a good player, which takes its part on time it takes me to complete these challenges, but I like how trolly creator went with these challenges - GI with Talon? Sure! I had fun with that combo, why not do solo it. And then Geth comes into play. I soloed Glacier/Geth with Kroguard. Back then, when spawns try to troll me I just slap those mutherfeckers to oblivion. But With GI it was like: 'OMG! That Hunter is flanking me straight from spawn, RUN AWAY! (hides behind corner and waits those slowpokes to come around)'.

 

Wanted to complete Geth first, because they are just an annoyance.

If you have a pc that can handle that kind of live compression and maintain a playable fps. More typical scenario is that you end up with a 11 gb file with a duration about 15 min that you have to manually recompress unless you're planning to upload entire 11 gb.

 

Yeah, I shouldn't talk about things off the top of my head like that. Didn't occur to me that the files are relatively small because they're already compressed, nor that compression affects game performance. This means I could probably record full screen with software that doesn't do live compression (or if I figure out how to turn it off). Neat.

1 minute of uncompressed 1280x720 footage would weight about 3gb. Just try msi afterburner with 720p frame size at 30 fps and if that makes you lag then you're probably better off not recording at all on this pc.

Targets, Hack, Escort.  I used IA, I didn't think about Cryo Ammo at the time, and I blew myself up several times.

 

I tried a couple more runs after this with Cryo Ammo but didn't do much better.  Targets on practically all of them, never got good missiles.  I don't know if I will bother attempting it again since I don't usually play flamer characters and this map is not all that fun.

Pretty sure it was Pizza, Escort, Escort when I upload the video, you PC heads can all laugh your asses off at console's attempts to pizza run      I'd have been better off walking backwards. The time is not great but marksmad & Brannigan can attest, my son was literally climbing all over me during the game. Good times.

Week 1: VI Overlord (Hardcore)

Hack, Targets, Escort.  It has been ages since I played GI with GPS.  I did not respec from my sniper build.  I somehow forgot to use my last missile on Wave 10 cleanup, but that was part of the comedy of errors for this run.

 

I don't know if I will try Outlier.  There are some oddball rules for that series.
