I forgot the other question which was about Stronghold gear and Shield Power Cells, are they legal?  I assume they are ok since the rules say Cyclonics.

 

Yes, all other gear is fair game. Just cyclonics are banned for the outliers.

I might have to respec for many of these, especially Geth Hopper.  I don't know if I will try to stack SPC and Stronghold on there or just go Assault.  Cerberus hitscan and Jade isn't a friendly combo.

^Nice capture capn. It works also with Phantoms and Atlases. But not with Banshees, Praetorians ans Scions, their sync-kill animations are too slow. 

 

As a bonus, a sync-kill isn't considered as a death by the game. So it's possible to be sync-killed and still get the 10 waves survived medal.

Yes I got 10WS in that game.  But I missed the no missiles on regular waves rule so it was a waste of time to do that mission and the previous one.  A lot less motivated now.

A technical question - how do you get several ingame screenshots? Do you use a tool for that? I use Printscr+Paste into Paint, but Alt+Tab to desktop 3-4 times during a solo could get stressful.

I'm using Fraps for ingame screenshots. However, I can't use Origin ingamechat while Fraps is active. I don't use Afterburn, because I think it's going to melt my graphiccard. :/

^^ Same here with Dxtory, but maybe I can have origin in game now, i m not sure. It s pretty light, but useless for video capture with the free version.

I record the entire game, and get screenshots from the video (usually one from each objective wave, and the end screen).

If you have a capture program running, usually one of the hotkeys takes a screenshot.  Afterburner can do this (I have it set to F10).  I don't know what is available for xbox or ps3.

IIRC, I got my 50 melee medal before w6. I didn't melee much on goon waves at all (or phantom waves). Most of my melee kills were against nemeses, engineers, centurions and troopers. After my melee medal, I just resorted to shooting.

 

I don't have the video though, as I tend to delete it after I post here.

I did it because: -Cyclonics were not allowed

                          -HM halves your shields. Even with full shields, you take a beating (by wave 3 I was down to 3 medi-gels)

                          -Jade/Cerberus is a pretty difficult combination already, especially with a glass cannon

 

I think in team games I generally went without HM as well, with Geth Scanner. But then again, I didn't play this game in months.

I stuck with this 56636 build and got it.  Devices, Escort, Targets.  Used my last Ops at Extraction to leave me with 0 equipment.

I was extremely intimated by this one so I decided to cross it off early. My first attempt was okay, but I failed on wave 9. 20 something attempts later I managed this. Solid missiles on wave 5 helped alot. inc ammo biotic orb fire explosions made this a lot less painful.

I always took the female cause smaller. No idea if she s slower, never heard of that

I wanted to complete at least a couple of  7 Tiers of Neufchatel, and post it here, but during my attempt on Hooper/Goddess/Ripaz my cat synckilled my internet connection... So, out of pure rage I will post this one that I did: Tier 4 AIU infiltrator/Glacier/Cerberus

 

 

 

Fun thing happened during this one: on some of the earlier waves my mouse batteries run out of juice, so I managed to get one Nemesis left with my touchpad, and put batteries to recharge for about 10 minutes, during those 10 minutes I just run around occasionally slapping that poor bastard

 

Apart from that, would be a lot shorter if I didn't melee so much (and didn't enjoy torturing last remaining Nemesis whenever opportunity arise).

Doesn't matter, fun factor are high with this one.

 

Also, in HoF, my Tier 2 is placed under Tier 1. If somebody could look into this I would be grateful.
