I've no idea how I managed to miss this, and I'm dreadfully sorry I'm so late to comment on it. Thank you so much for thinking of me! I promise I'll give it a go as soon as I can. Playing a lonesome tiny lady with a huge gun and arc grenades (with all them generous ammo boxes on Rio) definitely sounds like something every girl gamer should do at least once in her career.

N7.I. The Shepard Clone's War, Part 3 - Spectre Status Recognized

F#cking Derperus. If this wasn't in the last tier of challenges, I would have given on my own rule of no Crutch Scanner on Gold. But, by God, the sheer amount of bullshit...

I had one run of 28 minutes (I nuked the sh!t out of wave 9 and got it done in less than a minute or so), but with 2 gels and 2 ops packs left on wave 11, a phantom staggered me with melee literally two paces away from the extraction zone. So I got only mission successful and no full extraction. I still don't know how my keyboard survived the rage...

 

Anyway, after 17 tries and a lot of frustration I switched to my Drone Engineer (56645 build, melee suicide Drone) and got it on the very first attempt. Turns out melee Drone is invaluable in choke points and screws up Derperus almost as much as it does Geth. I was able to slow down or completely shut down the phantroll/goon rushes and even mess with Atlases a bit, which helped a lot.

 

Now, it's on to London/Geth with no Scanner. I almost did it once when I was taking a break from N7.I, but got a sh!tty center hack on w10 and died. Still it is much easier and has much less derp.

Now, it's on to London/Geth with no Scanner. I almost did it once when I was taking a break from N7.I, but got a sh!tty center hack on w10 and died. Still it is much easier and has much less derp.

Glacier is a pain without scanner, london is more tolerant. (Suicide drone is great too)
