Nice job heroic! That was a pretty smooth run! Though, I think you may have trouble getting out of London after hitting the ship with that last missile!

My "Week 4: Now I Am Become Death, the Destroyer of Worlds" Insanity Difficulty run.

Wave 3 objective:  Pizza.
Wave 6 objective:  Escort.
Wave 10 objective:  Upload (luckily, at spawn, and not any of the other troll locations).

Mission Completion Time:  46:34.  I apologize for the horrid time.  Waves 8, and specially 9, could have gone a lot smoother.

I couldn't get my Devastator Mode "camera screen" to work after having to deactivate Devastator Mode for the Wave 3 pizza runs.  Game bugs.

I believe the Assault Rifle HVB does not work on the Striker AR so u wasted 25% extra damage that u could have gained with the Assault Rifle Extended Barrel.

yeah, it does nothing. Striker already does 100% damage against armor, no damage reduction and it cannot penetrate anything. So, sadly 25% damage were wasted.

Gave this a shot last night. Failed my first attempt (grabbed while doing Devices on wave 3) then got it on my second.

39:22.. so not too shabby with Wave 10 Devices  That wave is worth a watch I'd say. Luckily the worst device came first.. unluckily I got sniped off of the final device and had to kite again. Then I had to rush to finish the objective with a banshee bearing down on me. With some quick reactions and a little luck I clutched the device.

8 Waves survived also. I didn't realize there were 2 Marauders on Wave 9 and was caught off guard Wouldn't have mattered anyway considering what Wave 10 was..

Started working on the first challenge (For Thessia), I got the Hack 4 objective in wave 10, which was pretty much a death sentence for me (timer run off...). I was at 39 minutes with awful objectives so I think I can do that challenge in under 35 minutes with a bit of luck.

Gonna try it again tomorrow.

Yeah, bad mistake, but even more props for pullng it off.

I misread the HVB's description a while back when it was new as I thought it gave bonus damage as well.  Or I might have confused that mod with something else.

Regardless, I now feel like a ******.

@tetsu: Nice job! wtv, I willingly used a scope on my striker. lol It doesn't matter. That time is still impressive. with an additional 25% damage, you might have hit 40 mins or under!

@smooth: Nice run! you cracked the sub 40 insanity barrier. I don't know how you guys are pulling that off, I found I did absolutely no damage against banshees. I'll prob have to try again one day with a pure power build.

@kaxas: yeah that center hack on Thessia may be the worst hack location in all of multiplayer. lol

@knockinbr4in: solid job man, great gameplay. I appreciate the filming. I'm sure that was much more enjoyable than the striker Up close and personal with the banshee at 10 mins.

HoF updated! I also added an asterisk to any top three time without vid across all previous challenges. In future weeks, the top 3 won't be accepted without vid. Thanks!

Finally got it! Final time was a 54:23 (inb4lolscrub) with a score of 237,604.Got Upload>Targets>Pizza; used three missiles, four ops packs and two medigels.
I promptly spent all my hard-earned cash and got three upgrades for the Striker (now have it at IV)

What really kills me is the fact that my phone died sometime during the run so I couldn't get a picture. Did you want me to try again tomorrow for pics?

Oh snap, I did! You did outscore me by 30k, so you could tell me to Kite Moar. I wonder how much better my time would have been if I'd gotten those Striker upgrades before I started.

I do have a pic of my loadout and one of me on wave four, so my phone died at some point after that. I'll post them after I get some rest.

Kite Moar! Edit: You're not kiting hard enough if you're under 60 mins.
I'd say give it another go when you get the Striker to X.  I'm sure that'll make a significant difference. I'm still trying to find time to do the hardcore one. I'm getting tired of seeing that 64 mins there.

 Let's be real.  You are just trying to get ahead of my scrubby self on the HOF.  I am going to redo my Typhoon run and maybe the Justicar.  I will not redo the HSol because I threw my Valkyrie in the trash.  
(for further challenges- do not include the Valkyrie or I will quit:P)

Here is my Destroyer Insanity Difficulty run:



Objectives were: escort, targets and pizza. It took me at least 10 tries before I got a lucky combination.

To be honest I think striker AR with incendiary IV is actually an easier challenge than typhoon. Typhoon needs less reloads and can kill bosses faster but striker is better at staggering small units and requires no aim.
