Is this a 3WS and a 5WS in your final screen?
Could you explain your build choices in Hunter Mode and Network AI, pls. Wouldn't power recharge and power damage be better? Does a reload canceled Javelin profit from Accuracy and Rate of fire? And Damage & Capacity in combination with Recharge Power would give you a 3 sec faster Overload, no? Just curious.

No it's the other way around. I got 5 wave survived and got damn devices on w6 
, the last one was in a bad spot and got killed twice, once while trying to do it and second trying to run away, you know scion grenades, two pretorians, usual collector crap. after that I didn't die for the rest of the game, so I got another 3w survived, If you look at my "does this unit have a soul?" solo you'll see that I got the same, I got killed while carrying the pizza on w6 
, not used to do it not running I guess. This basically means that had I not died during the objective wave I would have got ten wave survived and it's a real shame specially for that platinum solo. Also if I'm not mistaken the result screen shows you the results in the order you get them in game.
As regards my build, it's actually a build that I friend used and I was trying out. If I were going to snipe with this guy yes I would have changed some things but I didn't feel like resetting him for one or two solos. I don't know, there are different options depending on what you want to do, one thing for sure, I would have taken the power recharge in hunter mode, because the javelin is heavy an this guy doesn't have cloak to benefit from, for both damage and power cool down purposes, and you don't need the other one if you are sniping.
Regarding the power damage, well, with a sniper rifle and in that kind of game I want to do as much weapon damage as I can, so in any case I would maybe consider the possibility of going all weapon damage on the passives forgoing some of the overload points, maybe go up to rank four and get chain overload the most, it is still useful specially to stagger husks and collector captains, besides the only detonations I could get were from priming with the turret flamer, but still useful for husks and seeker swarms. The lack of weapon damage as compared to the geth infiltrator is very noticeable.
A reason for power damage on the forth rank could be to improve your power cool down, but the turret, which is the geth engineers life, has a neat reload time, so even with the javelin I could deploy it frequently enough.
The turret by the way is extremely useful, for it's life giving shields, to stagger enemies, and to stop those annoying husks, deploy it where you think they're coming from, or behind you if you don't see them and as soon as you hear the flamer going you know something is coming, also the flamer stops husks on their tracks for a few moments enough to kill them or run depending on the situation. Sometimes the turret will just kill the husks for you, the geth engineer's turret is one of the best pets in the game.
Regarding the accuracy and rate of fire, the reason I have it is because normally I use a shotgun on him, and no, it doesn't do anything for any sniper rifle, they're all accurate enough and you cannot fire a one shot weapon faster because you only have one bullet in the clip, the rate of fire in the game applies only to the speed at which you can empty your clip, once empty you need to reload. One shot weapons like this one or the claymore won't benefit from that, precisely because you need to reload the weapon every time you shoot, so the only way to improve your rate of fire for those weapons is by cutting the reload animation short by means of the reload cancel procedure which I think you already know.

I really like the new challenge series, so much Geth awesomeness! And I'm glad to see a mix of team/trio/duo/solo missions; there are plenty solos and duos in other series, but not many options for trios and full teams. Some great ideas there, AW, well done!

Tell me about it.
A few days ago I decided to have a quick platinum before going out, I thought - hm I have Time, I'll set it up to public, and will take my EDI (AIU) and I can start straight away and luckily some decent pugs will join. So there I go I start the game and what do I get? collectors on jade wayyy!
So I start the game wave 1 passes, wave2 passes, no one joining, w3 I got pizza and I think - well easy enough, so I do it and on to w4, then w5, still no one joins. I get to w6. Let's see, let's see... devices! Ok let's see, this one doable, the other one too etc, get to the last one hm damn atlas by it, ok missile, done and on to w7 easy enough, and I think is no one playing ME3?, w7 done, on to w8, ok I finish it, w9, still alone and finally: w10! ok what have we got?, cross fingers, lets see... DEVICES AGAIN! damn Ok where's the first one, where is it? well guess? right in the middle of the map! out in the open the one at the top and there are enemies all around it! so I think, - ok game over. Anyway will do or die! so In I go with my EDI dodge some enemies get there start doing it, no way, banshee praetorian on one side, prime on the other, ok missiles, It took me 4 missiles to clear the area so to speak, because they all got re-spawned at the nearest spawn point, thank you bioware , but I see a tiny window of opportunity, the flank towards LZ is clear so I take cover behind that tiny wall and start doing it, well I still don't know how I did it, the primes where shooting at me, the praetorians, collector captains, everything was shooting that tiny broken piece of wall, I finish it before the two banshees arrive and shoot away towards the LZ, next one? up in the control room top floor away from all the enemies YES! I speed towards it and start, come on, come on, damn the banshees come on! finished noooo 
I get grabbed, but wait... something's killed me, potshot from a prime most likely, no time to wonder, ok I'm pinned down between the two banshees and a wall hmm, ok gel revive and for some reason the two are just staring on, a split second that I take to dodge and away we go, next one? opposite side but within cover so I speed there and finish it, no problems this time, and finally the last, back at the control room away from enemies and the banshees that keep following me around. FINISHED! I can't believe it got to wave ten got devices and finished! 
Well guess what? people start joining the game THEN! after all that nightmare wtf! and what do they do, they all die at the LZ and don't even bother gelling, typical. So I manage to lure the two banshees towards a prime at the LZ and use my last missile on them, then I just shoot the two praetorians and the prime left with my trusty claymore, wave 10 finished! all hail the AIU. So on to extraction. Well guess what, the pugs were not plat players at all, they start running around like headless chickens, start dying spread the enemies all around and finally they all die, I'm left alone but the whole place is a mess, eventually I try to run and a prime starts their stagger crap just enough so that dragoons and all the rest are on me in no time and I get pinned down and finally couldn't extract damn it after all that work, but hey! I manage to get mission successful, well that's something.
That is annoying indeed, I managed to pull out a game in one of the worst possible scenarios, I've seen games lost on that map under the very same circumstances with a full team. And also no one joins until I've almost finished the match, and it doesn't count as a solo! even though it literally was a solo. Yeah, you gotta love this game.
So I'll file a complaint with Alliance Command later

Phantrolls are even more fun on host. Even if it weren't for that, it seems lately that their favorite thing to do is shoot a few times from the palm blaster of death, begin a new animation (be it flip or cover or whatever) and cancel it immediately to do another 4 blaster shots.
