Haha Yeah there's no way I'm redoing the Valkyrie one either. I like to get a time I'm happy with on these and stop there. I at least want to complete the hardcore ones and yeah there has to be a little friendly competition at the bottom  lol no I don't mind being last on the completionist leaderboard, I think it's hard enough just to complete all of these challenges and be on that list!

@ Caratinoid: Wow, that is the second fastest insanity time, and soon to be the quickest with vid. Thanks for filming! HoF updated! I'll check it out when it's uploaded

I haven't played the game for quite some time, so I'm pretty happy with that time myself. I don't think I will waste any more consumables trying to get better objectives or beat typhoon challenge, had enough of London and it's cruel objectives for now.

@kocka: Beast! Nice job, and with the 5 waves. I have no AR III ammo and RNG seems to not want to give me any. haha. So I'm going to hold off doing the hardcore run for now. That 30% increased damage is serious time.

So I've gotten around to finishing my Asari run for the first week's challenge. It was my third try, time-wise it didn't go as well as the second attempt (which would have been a few minutes faster -probably sub-40-, if I didn't get trolled with the objectives).

Summary
-time: 45:38
-points (seeing that you account them): 270827
-5 waves survived medal (actually survived 9, but wave 10 went pretty bad)

Objectives:
-escort (wasn't too bad, even though enemies kept spawning in the path of the drone)
-pizza (nothing in particular, it wasn't hard)
-targets (only had 1 missile for this wave, but luckily I managed to switch the target to a Ravager quickly. Wasted 3 medi-gels. I was very close to getting sync-killed by Banshees several times.)

Had to use one more medi-gel on extraction, but it was okay.

Thanks! I'm pretty sure I'll attempt this solo again soon, not getting a sub-40 time really bugs me.

But, onto the other challenges first!

I finally got around to the Hardcore difficulty of Merely the Weapon (Week 3). I had a lot of fun with this challenge. I love the Valiant!

I ended up with Targets>Objects>Devices (yes, once again, wave 10 devices.) I managed to pull a sub 40 time though, so I'm pretty happy with that! I also got 5 waves survived in there at some point which is a nice little bonus!

I'll render the vid and upload it, though it'll only be up tomorrow. HoF updated=]

^ yup, I just got banshee grabbed wave 8, doing the typhoon run with AR I amp. (desperate times). at 24 mins. I can't believe it. lol

Edit: Make that two banshee grabs in wave 8. 26 mins this time.

Looks like fun, I'd just like to point out that the Predator has more potential DPS at rank X than the Carnifex does, iirc. Only thing that worries me are the Gold Medals (at least you accept skillstreaks), because I can only think of three that one could get solo (75 kills, 75 pistol kills & 20 headshots)

Also, Geth Thunderdome.

Yeah, the DPS per clip has been pointed out, although since there's the requirement of getting 4 gold medals, It requires a little more strategy so I think the slight damage difference is fine. We'll see when times start coming in. I could always change the weapons around. Basically those two weapons are the only two we see Saren use. So it's either or.
