Let's just say Arc Pistol to make everyone happy. Also, it's found on the Geth Dreadnaught mission, and is sold by Elkoss Combines which also sells many of the Geth Weapons... Any other ideas?

Do the gear / consumable restrictions apply to Insanity?  I assume they do, which makes this one worse than most of the other ones.

Escort, Packages, Packages.  This was my 4th attempt, essentially rage quitting for different reasons each time.  This is one of the harder challenges, at least in the original series, IMO.  I had saved up a few extra missiles for Wave 10, but I executed that wave poorly.  Also very nearly lost on extraction.

Very Nice capn, HoF updated with your two new records for Gozu District (one of my favorites) and I will Destroy you! (both insanity versions!) You've almost completed the original weekly solo series on insanity and with quite a few records on the table. Impressive stuff!

Two ghosts on Ghost who were so invisible, not even the shuttle could see them! We missed extraction by a heartbeat actually

Great fun on this challenge, and coordinating the double 75 assault rifle kills medals was probably the trickiest part Banshees were particularly magnet-happy, so we had to be extra-careful around them. To make up for this, the game gave us the easiest hack on wave 10, in the building all the way across the valley of death from the LZ, and with spawns all far away from any line of sight.

Devices, Devices, Packages.  I put comments in the description, but some brief ones here.   I had to get used to Slayer melee because I never use it.  5 gold medals to earn, but Phase Disruptor is a combat power and it can't generate a medal.  So I decided since I had to have 25 melee kills anyway to just get 50 and not be at the mercy of rocket ability.  Although I ended up getting the gold killstreak medal anyway with a leftover missile on extraction.

HoF update!

 

- capn sets the new record for "Retake Omega Part 2: Jessie, My Love (Insanity)"! and top times for both "Antiphase" and "The Savagery of Heshtok"! I find using the Slayer as a melee character to be one of the most difficult tasks (Especially against Geth on Jade). Impressive stuff! Extra bonus points for both the gold melee medal and the device of doom!

- Emexxia and HamleticTortoise complete another Servant of the People duo, with "Mine, Mines Everywhere" Great job!

- Next round of X3lander's "Fight for the lost" Series should be up in the next day! Stay tuned N7!

Packages, Hack, Hack.  Afterburner decided to change the setting for the audio device (probably because I had just updated Catalyst versions before this) and so there was no sound.  So I made an audio track with some classic Geth killing music.

 

I didn't have much of a plan beforehand outside of shooting targets in the head with the Mantis until I got to 20HS, then surviving for 5 waves.  Initially I couldn't decide whether I should do the remainder of the match with the Mantis or the Avenger, and ended up alternating a bunch.  It seemed in the end that spray and pray with Avenger + PM spam was best for grouped mobs, and Mantis + MM was better for single targets or at range.  I didn't really get into any rhythm with the Mantis + PM.
