Hack, Escort, Hack.  Could not glitch the last hack, only death was blowing myself up using a rocket in it.

 

I used a 46556 build.  A couple of reminders:  TA goes through cover, it didn't seem particularly reliable on ramps for some reason (although it works a the bottom of ladders), and the blast wave is more or less just an effect and does not indicate whether a target it actually going to be hit (ie you will need to learn the effective range).  Also, abom detonations go through some soft cover.

 

The Raider is largely counterproductive when farming TA kills.  The damage per shot is high enough that many times you will end up killing targets outright.  Likewise, even a lowly rank 5 Throw spec'd for radius and detonate sometimes will kill targets depending on what they bump into.

 

Theoretically since Cryo Ammo is allowed I suppose you could attempt to farm CE's for your tech kills.  However your freeze chance with Cryo 4 will be around 8% per pellet using the Raider due to high stat rate of fire (200) multiplied by pellet spread length of 8.

 

In any case for anybody attempting this one, try to slog through the farming of the Tech kills since the mission gets a lot easier after that.  Since this series is ME2 themed, it makes sense the sentinel challenge should involve TA detonations.

I remember what a big deal it was when AW pulled it off, first ever to do so. I could understand that these must be some hard ****** challenges if such an experienced soloist struggled to complete them - but it's only after I struggled as much as I did with these myself on gold that I started appreciating the magnitude of this achievement. And stringing the end-game missions one after another like you did in the last couple of days - truly awesome stuff. Hats off.

We had targets, and moar targets, then pizza. I bled out on extraction because I didn't have any more ops and somehow I mixed that up with not having any more gels so I didn't take a gel that I actually had. Derp. Also I rage-nuked some lone phantoms after an unusually well timed ops-save from a phantom sync-kill. Not my MO, the nuking, but I had too many missiles and felt my second wind would go to waste unless I used some.

 

Didn't feel like half an hour, time flies when you're having fun.

Devices, Packages, Escort.  I got up this morning and wanted to redo this using Engineering kit since it would allow me to kill Aboms with 2 TA detonations only (oversight when I did this yesterday).  But it felt like I couldn't aim the Raider, so it didn't end up a whole lot faster.  Didn't even get the 20 HS medal.

 

I do want to mention that around 2:28 I ran in a circle around the control room area and that might be a decent place to farm TA kills on early waves.

RNG decided to be a bit kind and gave me triple pizzas after trolling me with targets and devices in my previous attempts. I really should've gotten a better time considering the objectives. This morning, I got synced by a praetorian on w11 with the time at 25:52 (that was with w6 targets and an annoying cross-court escort).

 

I feel that it is best to spread out TA kills over multiple waves. Farming them makes it slower and sometimes, it is easy to get flanked while focusing on it and harm the chances of getting the 5 WS medal. I got my 25 tech kill medal on wave 7. Wave 7 is a really good wave for farming TA kills.

Thanks Smehur.It was hardest thing i've ever done in ME3 multiplayer.I was plaing ME3 multi without any goal when x3lander showed me this thread.
