In fact, at a total time of 150 m 5s, you would technically have just fallen short if I've calculated correctly, but I didn't specify the seconds, so < or = 150m 59s is probably what I should allow. You'd also be the first to achieve the Gouda Stuff Soldier award for completing all other challenges in the Tiers series!

I'd be inclined to say yes. I've allowed that in previous challenges too just for ps3. I'll let x3lander have the final word though for his series!

Sure thing. It's become standard practice to switch those hazard versions that are problematic, plus I'd rather you not get dropped on wave 11.

N1 challenges completed! All four devices spawned outdoor, on the upper part of the map. No luck kiting, and the last one alone cost me 4 missiles and 4 gels, desperately brute forcing it with less than a minute to go. In general, kiting dragoons away and getting them to stop spawning was key, especially on wave 7. Also, the Eagle is truly an underappreciated weapon!

Contrary to my expectations, I didn't even burn one thermal clip pack! Don't know if I should feel more proud for my shrewdness, or ashamed at my foolish miserliness...

 

Now, I just have to hope that Kai Leng - the cybernetically enhanced, biotically gifted right-hand man to the most evil human being in the galaxy, known for his strange facial features - will not, in the middle of a fight, reveal a disturbing tie of kinship with me

Originally I wanted the Viper (that was my inspiration for the challenge) or the Valiant. But I thought that it may lead to too much sniping and too little charging, so I decided to go for an AR (which is also an option to pick up on the Collector Ship). And Saber came to mind, given how it has good stopping power and behaves somewhat like a sniper without a scope. Plus you can put a scope on it if you want.

did this a while ago, didn't get great spawns/objectives (was like devices x hack x crossmap escort) and never bothered to redo for sub20 because I don't much like SI. Maybe piranha would be faster as well, but I don't particularly like that gun either 

 

edit; for reference and posterity in case anyone actually does look at this post piranha didn't seem better, got somewhere in the 21:00-21:15 range with somewhat better objectives but I'm also pretty bad with piranha
